Had the osso buco. Might be one of the best meals I've had this year. Generous sized piece with a hearty gravy reduced down to perfection. Perfect on a cool night. This place is fantastic

High-end food and service. Mostly meat and seafood. Consistently delicious. Pricey but worth it. A bit loud inside after 6:00. If you let them know about needing Vegan, they will make a delicious pasta and veggie dish.

Kid-friendliness: Not a place for small children. Please keep the little ones home.

Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility for inside but accessible for outdoor dining.

Faro has taken Peter’s to the next level. The food is exquisite - flavorful and cooked to perfection. The staff is the absolute best! Friendly, professional and kind! The cocktails and desserts are delicious! Always a great experience. Thank you for creating such a great establishment for us to enjoy!

The steaks they serve are actually on the higher side of quality and flavor. Better than a lot of the pricier steak houses in Philly and NY. They mushroom cream soup was also a standout. I will drive out of my way to eat here again.

While the atmosphere is always warm and festive, if not always overly loud, their version of an Oktoberfest left much to be desired.
I live only a few miles from the restaurant, and have avoided it since becoming ill shortly after dining there a few years ago (can't say for certain it was their food, but the gastrointestinal upset followed that break), but my neighbors invited me along.
Food: The goulash soup was more of a slightly differently spiced beef stew, watery and bland. The sauerbraten was decent, but a very small portion. The spaetzle was undercooked and doughy. And, perhaps most telling, our server told us there were no German beers available, suggesting Sam Oktoberfest as an alternative. She said she was unfamiliar with the menu.
Really disappointing, and I'll likely stay away for another few years. I miss what this place once was. Sadly, it is no longer that special place.

Very loud. We sat in the room in the back because there were 9 of us. There were a couple of other large tables. The food and service were good restaurants, clean. Food was expensive.

A surprising discovery on PA Rt 6 between Milford and Lake Wallenpaupack is this charming, welcoming, and well appointed European restaurant. With an owner/chef from the Culinary Institute of America, the dishes are creative and delicious. My son loved the ahi tuna with guacamole and the shrimp-scallops over risotto pancakes were delicious. Leave room for dessert because those are excellent as well. We ate in the indoor seating, but took a peak at the charming outdoor pavilion with heating towers for the fall, winter, and spring. It's worth the trip and the stop to dine at Peter's.
