“My wife and I enjoyed lunch here. She had a grilled reuben with a side salad with house balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The pastrami used in the reuben is purported to be home made. The pastrami was great but smelled smokier than it tasted. There was a generous serving on the sandwich. The salad and dressing was good too. We recommend this item.I had the fish tacos and can only award them a C+ . They were fine but not full of flavor. They consisted of three soft taco shells, each with a strip of deep fried fish and topped with a sweet Cole slaw like you might eat with BBQ. Mostly I tasted the slaw. Personally, I like a cilantro/jalapeno based slaw with this dish and I like the fish, if fried, to be seasoned and coated with Panko for crunchiness. I couldn't taste any seasoning on the fish. Nothing wrong with the preparation and the portion was quite adequate, just not worth more than a C+. I chose homemade bleu cheese dressing for my side salad. The dressing had plenty of flavor and I really enjoyed it.I had and Irish ale and my wife had a glass of wine. That's why our bill was over $50. It would have been around $34 otherwise. The Dog has a nice, old time atmosphere than made us both feel very comfortable. It's a good place for lunch.Dietary restrictions: Some GF dishes although they make it clear on the menu they are fried in the same fryer were flour-coated foods are fried. So . . .I did see one "modified vegan" dish, what ever that means.“
“I’ve come here twice so far…and will definitely continue to come here. Both times were very enjoyable! The first time I had the chicken avocado tacos, they were pretty good. Prob a 3.9/5. But the wings! Had them the first time for dinner, and came back for the lunch special; consistent both times. Their honey hot is delicious. I’d just keep getting honey hot tbh. Both servers we had were great and attentive. Honestly no complaints! Can’t wait to try other menu items. ?“
“My hubs tried the Birria burger tonight and wow, it was so delicious. He couldn’t finish it but it will make a tasty lunch tomorrow. Love that they are mixing up their menu a little bit. I had the pappardelle which was great too, although it is so heavy. I might suggest reducing the amount of burrata and adding some vegetable to balance out the dish. We really needed some good food tonight after a few underwhelming experiences recently and StoneRose came through for us!“
“Overall, my experience was amazing. I went to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. Folks at the table didn't enjoy their food. Though, I really enjoyed mine. I had the chicken francese meal. It was amazing. I wish I could recall our server's name. She was amazing. We were there on 4/13 and seated upstairs. Even the other tables of guests were great. Just an all around great experience.“
“Update 04-Apr-24: Katrina was our server, plus we got to see Melissa again. Was really great food and the drinks were great too. Easy to get to and great Mexican ambiance! Katrina and Melissa - you guys are the BEST!We go here often. Excellent place to eat and enjoy an adult beverage! Nicole was great the last few visits. Melissa has been awesome, too.Go visit.“
“On March 14, 2024, my family went to WH after my mom had surgery at GVH. We were stressed out and hungry and close to the restaurant. We got there and had a lovely lunch in the bar. Our bartender (sorry I can't remember her name!)was delightful and we were glad we came. The lunch was delicious and the atmosphere was warm. Highly recommend❤️❤️❤️!“
“Really love this place! Great food and love their brunch especially. It was full, so we had to valet. It did physically hurt my heart to see the valet slam my car into park while it was still driving. I still tipped them, they are just kids, but I will definitely never valet here again. Not worth the potentially expensive repair. Maybe management could remind them to stop vehicles fully before switching the gear to park? Anyway, can’t wait to come back.“
“Vegetarian options: The food was yummy. Even though the menu doesn't have a separate label for veg, non-vegan, or vegan, you can customize the order. Valerie was kind and respectful. She made that the order was right and provided suggestions on what's the best. Overall, it is a place was stopping by to have an amazing meal.“
“Who's a lucky dog? You are if you find yourself sitting at the bar of this neighborhood treasure. Friendly staff, friendly strangers, unexpectedly great food. This all at a reasonable price, and served up quickly. It's not a super nice place, a neighborhood bar. But the restrooms are clean, the atmosphere casual. So much so that the food quality comes as a surprise. Obviously, they care, and they are skilled. And the customers care. We just showed up on a lark, we were the lucky ones.“
“Excellent food and service! The dining areas have been wonderfully restored inside and attention is paid to every detail to make the atmosphere enjoyable. There are several delicious gluten-free options available on the menu if you have dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Several gluten-free options. There are also vegetarian and vegan options available!“
“I’ve been going to Ye Olde Ale House since the 1970’s. The roast beef is still prepared behind the bar, and the decor of this place hasn’t changed much either. Both of those are good things. Great beer selection too! Gets really crowded on Thursday, Friday and Saturday around dinner time, but they do a good job of moving people in and out.“
“I don’t have enough amazing things to say about this place!! Theresa the owner always treats us like family, there’s an incredible rotating drinks list & there is always some local talent on!I am so glad to have a local pub in lansdale. Keep up the amazing work!“
“This is a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food, even better drinks, and they are all so friendly and supportive of the community! I love to get the Green Goddess Bowl (with the perfectly cooked salmon), then splurge of either a sweet martini or a homemade dessert. In good weather, Ill bring my dog to eat on the patio and watch kayakers pass. 10/10..did I mention they have parking?!?“
“We first dined at Mallard about 3-4 weeks after they opened. This is a second time back and they are definitely on their game. The facility is beautiful, the service was on point, and the food was superb. Mallard is definitely worth the trip.“
“Nice atmosphere. We opted for a 4pm seating to avoid any potential crowds. The restaurant dining room has TVs all around so liken to a sports bar/restaurant. Food was great -Kudos to the chef. Great flavor profiles great menu choices. Portions are a good size for appetizers and main dishes - we shared the crab & artichoke hot dip. Was excellent. Husband had cedar plank salmon with a maple whisky glaze (excellent), I chose the brazed short ribs dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Also excellent. Our server was very good. Only criticism would be that the server said he's “try to find some bread” for our table prior to the appetizer. He came out with 4 “Kings Hawaiian Dinner Rolls” that he slapped some butter on top of. My thought was .. really? And you never pre-butter the tops of rolls. Rather you serve warm rolls with butter patties or a dish of butter for the customer to use as they wish. But, again that was just poor judgment and really the only negative thing I can think to mention.“
“Being frequent customers at the East End Tavern and always enjoying their food, we inquired if they would be available to cater a 50 guest family celebration at our home. I met with their manager Sam one morning and she very kindly and efficiently assisted me in choosing all our food selections, giving suggestions and portion sizes that would help us have a successful event. An hour before the party, Sam and Scott arrived at our home and showing great teamwork, they both proceeded to take care of every detail of the setup. The layout was perfect for an efficient kitchen flow. Everyone kept commenting how delicious everything was and all wanted to know who catered the food. There is no doubt that the East End Tavern definitely contributed to the amazing time that was had by all. Nothing less than a five star service.“
“I've been to Peppers a few times over the course of years, and it has always been enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. My eggplant parmesan sandwich and side of fries was very good. There was a nice selection of beers to choose from. W÷ enjoyed music from The Mix Duo (photo added). I'm looking forward to returning.“
“This is such a great placel! Love their french onion soup! The staff is so friendly and they have a great new outdoor patio. They stopped allowing inside smoking years ago, so if that stopped you from popping in, try this place again. Their boneless wings are delish too!“
“Thursday November 9th 2023Bring cash, you CANNOT tip on a card!Had a blast! My uber passenger invited me in for a drink so I figured, why not! (I parked for the night & did not drive!)The bartender Katie is a doll, she's on top of everything & makes a mean drink. Go figure, she's been one of my passengers in the past too!I like the patio outside - you can drink & smoke simultaneously.Bar has a pool table & music you can pay for. Seats are comfortable.Unsure about how good the food is or if anything is gf.This place is also priced really reasonable or someone paid off part of my bill.“
“There's always a different bartender and it seems the more makeup they are wearing the more likely they are to get your order wrong. I ordered a double shot of Jack and a pint of coke and I got a double shot glass with ice and not even filled to the top and my soda had NO ice and it was half the size of a pint. That was a week ago. Two days ago, our food order got stupid screwed up! ...but as long as the bartenders look good, right? Shut up!“
“Found this place after all the places we wanted to go were full with long wait times. From the second we walked in, the people were so friendly. The service was excellent!!! We ordered the $20 rib special and couldn’t believe the amount of food we got. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.“
“Great place with really good food and drinks. The staff provides great service and the owner, Frank, is a very nice guy. The holiday dinners to go are so freaking good too.Vegetarian options: I had a grilled veggie sandwich with was very good.“
“Just got home from a really good meal. Absolutely no complaints. Yesterday I stop by for a couple beers while waiting for my car at Bergeys Today I went back with my wife. Had the Brisket! Was great. The waitress ( banquet B) was so nice and explained to us the idea about the restaurant. Everything is made on site. Fresh! I will definitely be back and bring some friends. Go Penn State!!“
“So I moved to this area from Philly a few years back, and it's been like pulling nails to find a good go-to cheesesteak place. Panicos is the closest I've found for that.Panicos isn't the highest quality you can buy up here (that'd be wagyu cheesesteak from Capriottis). And they're not even the best at making a traditional one (Italian Delight). That being said, Panicos makes a serviceable cheesesteak for a good price. $11 and it's decent. Do they mix the cheese in with the meat? Nope...they do cheese blankets. Do they toast the roll? Nope, and the sandwich will probably fall apart halfway through eating it. But the steak they use is decent, and the price they charge is perfect. Those other places I mentioned are $15-20 for similar. Panicos is a great go-to steak place and I'mma keep going there. If they started charging $15 though...I'd switch to Italian Delight.“
“Ribs fell of the bone. The sauce is complex with sweet and sassy flavors. Kramer Cosmo. Smooth and went down easy. Midnight brownie. Cocoa is beautifully prominent. Soft, rich and a perfect end to a perfect meal. Madison was attentive and very informative about the menu.“
“The bartenders are on point, as is the pricing for anything outside of a private club. It's legit one of the last bastions of what a "corner bar" quintessentially is - afforable drinks, great service and interesting people. If the smoke isn't a deal breaker for you, stop in.“
“Went for the first time on valentines day with my wife my son and his girlfriend food was very good the ribeye Steak lobster bisque was probably the best I ever had calamari was good and cheesecake was good also we will definitely be coming back one day.“
“I am the traveler. The Black Horse is a local watering hole. Clientele is very diverse and changes through the day. Very busy for sport games and very good pool players, which is perfect if you want a respectable game. The food is very good and cooked to order. And you the pricing is great. The bathroom is clean. While I’ve been here it is an older crowd, and everyone has been great. I would return.“
“Great service, everyone really enjoyed their meal. We shared a tower of onion rings, and all had soup or a salad, and they were great. I was able to substitute Asparagus for the baked potato to stay low-carb. Took enormous discipline because I love a nice baked potato.“
“Amazing service and food! Just a really wholesome, cozy place. We loved our waiter, Hector. He was so kind and had such a sweet spirit. For our birthday they brought us each a piece of cake with big sparklers in them, and they couldn't have been more excited to give them to us! This place makes you feel like family right away! We will be back again and again!“
“Food and service was fine. Noise level required shouting to your dinner partner across the table in order to be heard. This was due to a table of 14 happy people all talking very loudly next to us. Would have been nice if the large party had their own room.“
“My family recently chose the Limerick Diner for a luncheon following my father's funeral. We could not have asked for a better experience. Dom and his staff took care of everything and made us feel like family. The food was excellent, and the staff went over and above to make sure that each person had exactly what they needed. I can't say enough good things. I've been visiting Limerick Diner since I was a child and didn't know what to expect as the restaurant changed management since my last visit. I'm happy to say that the new owners and managers are taking very good care of both the location and their customers. The diner still has the same homey feeling that I remember from my childhood. Thank you!“
“I was staying in Plymouth meeting for a few months from dallas for work and this place quickly became a home away from home. Was right after the eagles won the Superbowl and nobody gave me a hard time when I wore my cowboys gear in! Good friendly people. Reminded me of my little hometown bar back in Dallas. Great food too!“
“Always excellent service both at the bar with Frankie or at a table with Cheryl. The food is delicious and served with a touch of humor. Laughter and smiles are always on the menu because of the personable ambiance each guest receives. To walk through the door and hear your name being called with enthusiasm makes you feel welcome and when your favorite drink is brought to the table immediately it makes you feel special as well as comfortable The Porch at the Courtyard Marriott will forever be my favorite home away from home“
“I've been going here even before Alex bought it. I lived and worked in the area all my life. Great little and I mean little dive bar with enough food and booze to satisfy most blue collar people like myself, many regulars, great conversations music,. One of the last places that even give ya the last shot in the bottle, and you can smoke . I never smoked, but I can deal, they know not to blow it my way.“
“We placed a Grubhub order for delivery. Driver delivered wrong order, he said he would go back for it, but ghosted us instead.Restaurant was excellent, order sat there for over hour and half. They were gonna make fresh. Excellent customer “

“Great local place! Stopped in for first time today and it was awesome! Steali was the bartender. She was absolutely amazing (and I'll just respectfully say wow! I might be in love) but for real her service was amazing. 40 years in the hospitality industry. I'd steal her in a Second. Seriously she is amazing!“
“I came in alittle upset bc I was having one of those days and got upset with the staff for asking for a id (aka her doing her job). She was calm collected and gave me excellent service. I am a store manager for a retail store so being verbally assaulted is a daily occurrence. No excuses but she took it well and stayed professional. A note to the owner would be to add a section on the credit card receipt for a tip. There is no way to tip unless its cash and I wanted to leave something but only had a card. Tapping the ATM isn't a solution. I would recommend this business. They have a large selection of liquor and beer.“
“I was visiting the area last year and looking for a spot to meet an old friend. He recommended this place, knowing I love Italian/pasta. We arrived for a late lunch, around 2pm and it was empty, so we had our pick of the tables and opted for the outdoor/porch area- luckily it wasn't too cold outside. Our server was friendly and attentive, brought our menus and water immediately. I went with the penne florentine and a glass of rose while my friend ordered a panini. We both enjoyed our meals and had a great time catching up. The pasta portion was huge so I had leftovers to finish later at the hotel! Decent price and value, would recommend if you are in the area.“
