“Out of all the eateries in the greater Slatington area, SMT has got to be the highest of my recommendations. the place is absolutely fantastic, in both food and service. Not only is it a rustic bar complete with trivia nights and a pool table, but everything is delicious and always served with the highest priority of the customer's requests. The service is perfect, as well. always friendly and accommodating. they all periodically check up on tables, they're known to stop for a quick chat without ignoring their other patrons, and they're completely genuine. For those going, I recommend asking for Kerri. I've had several servers over my visits, all are great, but Kerri has simply been the best. It's at a point where I dont even have to order because she knows exactly what im getting. It's clear she puts her customers first, and it shows. overall, an excellent establishment.“

“It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“Just WOW! The atmosphere is good. The food is just amazing. The Tomahawk Chop is delicious. The balsamic reduction a perfect combination. And the deserts: wonderful.! (Try the Brownie with Ice Cream or Apple Cobbler with Ice Cream. Oh heck, get both!) We went last Saturday, (it was highly recommended by a friend) And I want to go back this coming Friday.“

“Started to become a regular at the Boatyard, avoided for along time because of a misrepresentation of the establishment from years past that just no longer should be considered. Let’s start with the staff and owners very professional, fun and caring they make you feel welcomed anytime you walk in. Honestly you can tell the staff are like family and you just feel like you’re apart of it when you’re here. The food portions and pricing is great not many places in the area can you get a portion where you feel you got your money worth the fact the pricing isn’t tremendous makes it more attractive. The quality of the food is great rotating specials lets you try new things which are always cooked right. You are missing out not trying the boatyard at least once.“

“IT'S A GREAT FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT WITH GREAT FOOD. BETTER FOOD THAN MOST DINERS AND IT'S REASONABLY PRICED. THE BEER AND SHOT ARE ALSO EXTREMELY CHEAP IN PRICE COMPARISON TO ALL THE OTHER BARS AROUND. IT IS A SMOKING BAR SO AT TIME THERE'S TONS OF SMOKE AND YEA YOU WILL LEAVE OUT OF THERE SMELLING LIKE A ASHTRAY BUT OTHER THAN THAT...IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO GO EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY AND THE JUKEBOX HAS A VERY WIDE SELECTION OF MUSIC FROM ROCK TO HIPHOP. “Last week I had the pleasure of having dinner with seven friends at Christophers. The drinks were very reasonably priced and Donna even made specialty martinis. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient and our dinners were delicious. WE WILL DEFINITELY VISIT AGAIN.“

“This is a great place for a good old fashioned shot and a beer with excellent bar food. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I have only been there three times yet they treat me like I have been a customer for 20 or more years. You can't beat the value!
Parking: Plenty of free parking in their lot! No issues whatsoever!“
