“A good starbucks for the most part ! The people working are pretty friendly and do their job as fast as they can despite how busy it gets and usually do their job pretty well. A lot of merch here as well and the drinks always taste amazing. My only complaint would be is that a few times my order has gotten messed up but not all the time, and I do understand because that has really only been the times where they have been super busy where the line is almost to the door. I recommend going to this starbucks when it’s not too busy but still a good amount of people are there. Also, to the workers, you are amazing ! ! Dealing with that many customers seems like a hard job, but thankyou for serving us here at SRU :)“

But pretty clean place and the food is out decently fast when you go in and order plus the kiosk help if you really don't want to wait in line or have people wait on you while your in line“

“Hillview Coffee was an absolute 10/10 experience from start to finish. I ordered the chocolate strawberry iced coffee and Sean had the hot chocolate strawberry coffee, and both drinks were perfectly balanced — rich, smooth, and honestly some of the best flavored coffee we’ve ever had. You can tell they take pride in what they make. We also tried a hot donut stuffed with ice cream, and it was incredible. Warm, fresh, and homemade — the contrast with the cold ice cream was unreal. Every pastry, cookie, and baked good we saw looked (and tasted) homemade and crafted with care. Nothing felt mass-produced — it all had that cozy, small-batch quality that makes a place special. The whole atmosphere felt welcoming and comforting, and you can tell a lot of love goes into this shop. Everything we tried was phenomenal. We’ll 100% be back and can’t wait to try more next time.“

“My first impression was that for its size, it still had a cozier atmosphere comfortable with varied types of seating. Sometimes when you're in areas that are closer to rural areas, the coffee shops can become very sterile and cold. And in this cold weather it was actually quite the opposite. And the coffee was good, and the staff was friendly, so that's awesome!“

“I had gotten a gift card for Christmas for here and I tried to use it about 4 months ago and the young lady couldn’t get it to work, so I naturally just paid for the donuts. I went back to the area today and decided to try again. For some reason , it still didn’t work. I explained that I had had the same thing happen a few months ago, she said let me just take care of it for you then and apologized. She definitely made a frustrating experience just a bit easier to deal with. Thank you so much! We love your donuts and don’t live close by, so when we are near, we try to stop. We will still come back, just not with a gift card. Lol“

“I love the avacado and roasted tomato toast. The staff is very friendly. The problem is the toast. It's not toast it's bread. Even when I ask (which is every time)for it to be extra toasty or dark I still get bread. One time the person taking my order actually marked the ticket "dark" and I got toast. Why after so many times (I get this 2or 3 times a week from this location)can they not get it right. I hope a manger reads these reviews and tried to rectify the problem. Toast is toast not bread.“

“The night shift manager that always works here may be quiet and perhaps a little bit shy and introverted with very little verbal communication, but I would have to take note that he is always very kind and friendly to all customers from my own personal experience, and he always ensures that my order request will be customized correctly. I hope he can continue to make all customers smile just as he has brightened my own days. We need more people like him to run McDonald’s restaurants to ensure the greatest and most exceptional customer service.“
