“They've figured the recipe to the perfect hang-out spot in this area. Kat's coffeehouse is cute, charming, has lovely decor, friendly servers, good coffee/ tea/ snack options, and is a great place to meet friends for an hour. They have egg bites, coffee cakes, cake pops, (food from Sweet Peas) and Penn State Icecream. A few of us from our neighborhood wanted to get together there and Todd (owner with Kat) set up a lovely area for us. Keto? No problem they have plenty of sugar free syrups and are not shy about customizing. Haley, one of the lovely, friendly baristas whipped up a keto Raspberry Frappuccino that my kids beg and fight over. We've quickly fallen in love with Kat and everyone I've taken there has found it charming too.“

“Love this little coffee shop in Harmony. All the charm, great coffee, and the food has been really really good every time. From the open faced toasts (personally my favorite), the waffles, crepes, and lunches! Great atmosphere that's conducive for all the things (have worked from here for a bit, had a breakfast date with my husband, lunch with my mom showing her around, and a treat breakfast with my 4 year old). Staff is super friendly.Parking: Just depends on the time of day if there is enough parking in the lot, but can always park in the Harmony lot and take the very short walk over!Kid-friendliness: Portions are very generous so probably just keep that in mind, but super friendly and staff even gave my son his orange juice in a small coffee cup with a lid (which I appreciate) and he loved!“

“We ordered pies from here last thanksgiving and they were delicious, so we stopped by here again on a rainy Saturday morning and to our delight it was not busy! This is such a sweet family-owned and operated business. We enjoyed all of our breakfast food items and I have to say that the coffee cake was the best I've ever enjoyed! The building it is located in is so incredibly old which gives it so much character. The courtyard in the back is so cute and would be the perfect place to sip on coffee and enjoy a pastry in the late spring/summer/early fall. We will return!“

“First time trying out this donut shop. Picked up 2 dozen variety and price came out equivalent to the other major donut chain. Donuts are smaller but fresher. Toppings are done in front of you which is cool to see. Lady was very friendly and jamming out to music. Good customer service and will definitely be back.“
“Again... diners are my thing and this didn't disappoint. It hits the mark on price and (for me) ambiance. Carmelly coffee in a ceramic mug :check; old pictures on the walls: check; booths, tables or the old fashioned bar near the kitchen and register: check. Generous portions of breakfast food were served as we noticed the regulars interact warmly with the staff. Even the police officer came in and bellied up to the bar for a cup and some conversation. There is also a variety of food and dessert items, all decently priced.Her and I ordered smoothies - peanut butter chocolate and pineapple mango coconut - as well as a pepperoni roll and a s’mores crepe.The smoothies were absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. The pepperoni roll was a large enough serving for my daughter and I to comfortably share, and was not only beautifully plated, but THE best pepperoni roll I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. The s’mores crepe was positively decadent - rich with semisweet chocolate and toasted marshmallow set in a light, perfectly made crepe.I said to my daughter more than once, “These are our people.” They were outgoing and friendly, conversing with both of us as though we were all old friends - the sort of interaction that feels foreign with the scarcity of small business.A business like this is a gem within our community and I can only hope that this review, and the many other positive reviews, encourages others to check them out. “Generoasta is a cozy, community cafe with really, really good coffee and an extensive menu of light breakfast and lunch items. I tried the chicken salad croissant. It looked lackluster but when I tried it, I'm pleased to say it was really good. We also tried the caprese salad and it was very good. I would visit again.“

Good sized portions. Many hot and cold coffee options. Fast and friendly service from the wait staff and baristas. Good amount of seating. Near a public lot if you can't find street parking. Will definitely stop again when I'm in the area. Update: been here more than a few times now and the food is delicious - Their "Frisco Melt" is one of my top 3 burgers in Pittsburgh.
