North Country has changed it's tune with regards to it's menu of the past few years. Not that the old menu was not good, but it was time to get a different flavor. Our food was really good, however.........prices have certainly edged up, and portions have gotten smaller. Sign of the times. Thank Joe Biden for that. Overall, a very nice visit.
This restaurant offers good food for reasonable price, but there are rooms for improvement. They served our food about 40 minutes after we ordered. They offered no complementary appetizer, but the appetizer we ordered was fine. The salad with shrimp topping was good. Also, the shepherd's pie was well cooked and tasted well, though the side soup was a small cup. Enjoyed the dry rub wings. The white bean and cabbage soup was awesome. Jambalaya was also a hit. And can,t forget the firehouse red. Waitress did an awesome job, friendly and prompt. Gave good recomendations.
