Broad Street Italian Cuisine & Pizzeria

Honestly this place has fallen of dramatically.

Wife and I went here for a pre movie dinner and it was incredibly disappointing. The food was bland at best, unappetizing at worst.

Good thing was the staff was friendly and the prices aren't crazy. Other than that I don't think I need to come back again.

Went in on a Saturday at 5pm for my son’s birthday. The pizza slices looked amazing that were in the case. We were shown to our table right on time, and our waitress came right over to us. When we asked about the slices of pizza ( since they are not listed anywhere on the menu that we could find), where we’re informed that they are only for takeout or to be eaten at the counter. We asked why that was, and this was the answer. “We don’t want them ordered for table seating, so that our waitstaff can make more money. Otherwise the bill is less , therefore they will get tipped less, so it’s not aloud.” That there was the first strike in my opinion. So we sat down, and ordered. They brought use their bread and seasoned dipping oil. After some dipping by 4 of our five, I pulled the oil away, and told our group that they didn’t want it. The reason was there was a dead insect in it. I showed it to our waitress and she took it away and apologized. She did offer us more, but I really wasn’t in the mood to try it again. That was the last we heard of it. No manager or owner came to apologize or to offer us any kind of discount. The food has always been excellent, but for those 2 reasons we’re not sure when we’ll be back. We are not young kids stiffing a waitress for her tip, so we can have a slice and a soda. We are over 60 and our kids were 40+. Sorry for the rating , but very disappointed in the reasoning, and non managerial response.

UPDATE!!!
I received a call after writing this review, and had a nice talk with BS C&P. The first thing they did was gave me a great apology, and asked for any additional information on our visit. They wanted to make sure that they did everything they could to make sure this never happened again. We have always had a great experience there and I’m sure our next one will be great again. I felt it only fair to inform everyone how they not only reached out to us, but were so apologetic about our visit. We will definitely go back again. Thank you Broad Street C & P!!

Wow...what a surprise...to charge for ice ($2.00/drink).It would have been nice if the waitress would have shared this information with us before we ordered. Unbelievable to charge for ICE...yes you heard it ICE. So anyone who drinks liquor on the rocks...be fore warned!!

Amazing food and great service! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Definitely one of my favorite Italian spots—I'll definitely be coming back!

Went with my family and was very impressed by the atmosphere and comfortable ambiance. Our server, Valerie, was incredibly pleasant and friendly and the food was lovely. I highly recommend the lobster mac n cheese, loaded tots, and best lasagna I've ever had! 10/10 will be coming again.

Always have a seat at the bar. Melissa, Izzy and all other bartenders are great! Super attentive and have amazing knowledge regarding the menu! Atmosphere is always great and the company is even better!!

Food is absolutely incredible... The Caesar chicken wrap is hands down.
7 days a week.
Twice on sunday... It's the absolute best chicken wrap my wife and I have ever tasted... And that's not a downplay on all the other food.... My wife and I work completely satisfied with portions and taste... Kudos to excellence
