The food and service were great, but the Asian woman at the register left a lot to be desired. She started by telling me I got in line in the wrong direction, when there was only one other person paying and no sign or barrier to indicate their preference. Then she gave me a $20 bill and three singles with which to tip. I asked for a ten, five, and five ones, and got a ten and two fives. This is a great local diner for breakfast and lunch. It’s a local hometown style diner with a small town feel. Everyone was nice and it was a pleasant experience. I loved the family style feel. The food is standard diner food which if you’re looking for classic American diner style food then this is the spot. If you’re looking for açaí bowls and avocado toast then go somewhere a little more hip.
