“We've eaten there three times now; The food is good, the servings are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Everyone is friendly. Only drawback I could see is that when it's really busy, seating is difficult. They have plenty of American options for food, but I haven't ordered any yet; their Mexican dishes are awesome.”

“For awhile, there was some turnover in the cook staff and the service and food was not very good to be honest. Some of these issues seem to have been fixed and changes have been made for the better. Service is much faster and food quality has improved. If you haven't been there in some time, give it another chance. I'm glad to be patronizing again.”

“I go mostly for breakfast. For some reason the omelets and scrambled eggs are not presented fluffy, instead they are wafer thin and lay flat on the plate. They get lost on the plate if you order home fries. That is my only complaint. Pancakes are wonderful plate sized,thick and fluffy served hot off the griddle. Truly the star breakfast item. The breakfast meats are average, nothing outstanding. Service is usually quick and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.”

“We recently discovered Oak, just a half mile from our home, and it’s truly a hidden gem in an area with limited dining options. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. Our bartender, Zach, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and offered fantastic recommendations—including the Steak and Eggs for brunch, which exceeded all expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the eggs—a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be ordering again. My husband enjoyed the BLT Eggs Benedict, which was equally impressive. The thick-cut bacon, perfectly poached eggs, and flavorful hollandaise made for an unforgettable dish. The service throughout our visit was outstanding, and when asked for recommendations, Zach confidently told us that everything on the menu is great—and from what we tasted, we absolutely believe it. If we could give Oak a 10 out of 10, we would. For anyone in the area or just passing through, we highly recommend stopping by. Oak is a standout dining experience, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“Had lunch today, the fried salmon bites with men in the kitchen sauce is a 10+ for appetizer, also had the sunken crab cake in the Moore's seafood soup, another winner. This place is one you should check out, the staff are friendly and answered any questions we had since this was the first time here. It's tucked away on the back parking lot located off of Ryan Run Road , just off of Stillmeadow Ln. Definitely a place to try.”

“My daughter and I stopped in last Sunday for some veggie wraps and coffee. Everything was great from the moment we walked in the door. The coffee shop was immaculately clean, the staff was so friendly and efficient and most importantly the food and coffee were awesome. Definitely will recommend Gather 256 to all. To me it's the best coffee/cafe in York! Thank you to Tyler. Sarah Molly, and Nina (hopefully I have everyone that was there Sunday afternoon) for being so awesome on our first time there. It definitely will be our special stop in York!”
