“Our server was very nice. I'm not much of a seafood person, but my 2 adult sons are. they love the seafood. I'm more of the Chinese food type so I had the Lo Mein and I did have the crab cake basket. All was excellent. I highly recommend it.“

“I'm a Yorker. But hadn't frequented the white rose after they went to a more upscale setting, my old high school homie suggested we go there and after we got seated I found out his out of town visit was for a death in his family that he assumed I knew about but I did not... now your staff being as great as you guys are and the food made this bad personal experience for us very nice otherwise, and it made me feel I may visit again sometime for lunch and a cold 🍺“

“The food was amazing, reasonably priced, and the vibe was great. They have a digital juke box which made for a great experience and the staff was so incredibly friendly. The loaded fries were a 10/10. The surf and turf cheesesteak received a 9.5/10 from my son. My daughter and I both gave the mild wings a 9/10. We are happy some of our leftovers made it all the way home and we will be back for sure!“

“Had my second visit and just finished some take-home food as well from this fine restaurant! I had a lovely scallop dinner there this last time and took home some meatballs and sauce with homemade spaghetti sauce that was outstanding! Definitely worth the 30-minute Drive❣️“

“What a night! I finally took Cooper for his 1st Lobster. After watching lots of “Coyote Peterson” uTube videos for a couple months, he’d been asking me to take him to eat one. Today was the day. Thank you to Hanovers Red Lobster & their General Manager Michael, he gave us the ultimate educational experience & even sat down with us & showed Cooper how to eat it. Mike got the meat out while Cooper ate it 😂😂. Cooper loved every bite of it & dipped it in his “hot warm butter”. He suggested his 8 year old friend Mia, try a “no thank you bite” ( that’s my rule ! 😂) And, she liked it! It was so funny! Had a great time. Cooper had a blast & enjoyed having Mia join him too!! Thanks so much Michael, for accommodating my request, you’re the best👍😀“

“Great food. But need to have better service, especially when younger people are doing it. Don't know why they can't keep good help. It's a shame. They gentleman in the morning is great. Hate to see them close. Hope they can straighten it out.“

“My family and I visited Avalon Ale House not long ago and I felt I needed to share. The friendly staff was very attentive to our table. The exceptional food selection was a plus! I would recommend this to someone who has not visited and we will definitely be back again! Keep up the good work!!“

“The best Chinese food in Hanover. When I moved here last year I made a point of trying every Chinese restaurant in town and this is easily my favorite. My entire family agrees. The staff is super friendly too and they gave us a free calendar at the end of the year. This has become our regular go-to place.“

“We've eaten there three times now; The food is good, the servings are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Everyone is friendly. Only drawback I could see is that when it's really busy, seating is difficult. They have plenty of American options for food, but I haven't ordered any yet; their Mexican dishes are awesome.“
