“Excellent service and best crabs in town!“

“Our table was not ready though our server motioned us to sit down while an extra table was added. No apologies, just: sit down, like we were inconveniencing her! Her attitude was approaching on rude. Orders were taken without comment, just looks. Soups were spilled onto saucers,no apologies. Coffee was served twice without spoons, containers were brought while people were still eating, same with bill. Everything was rushed, without a smile or occasional: can I get you anything or is everything ok? And why as a fine restaurant are you serving salad dressing in cheap plastic containers???“

“An unexpected gem in an unexpected location. This place, hands down, has the best crab cakes in Baltimore! You'd be hard-pressed to find a better one.Inside of an Amish Dutch Market, their location is well done. The staff is super knowledgeable and very friendly. The seafood here is always fresh. Their hot serve foods are insanely delicious!! I have tried just about all of it over the last few years & have never been disappointed. Stuffed Salmon, steamed shrimp, crabcakes, steamed crabs, shrimp cakes, stuffed shrimp, potato salad, corn on the cob, MD Crab soup, cream of crab soup... the list goes on.If you are in the area, heck if you're anywhere remotely close to this area, you have to make this one of your must-stop stops. The only regret you'll have is if you don't stop. Soooo good!!!“

“Great service and great food! my bestie and I come here every month for their monthly wine and dinner meals. Each month there may be a 5 or 6 course meal: each is a different theme and different food/drink/wine pairing. The service is always good and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Omar is the manager who typically hosts the dinner and describes each portion of the meal and makes the evening engaging and entertaining. They even have a raffle for interesting prizes and baskets, still hoping to win!!!!!!. There is a chance to order a meal to go for $10 bucks! Book your reservation today!

May 2026:

Coming here once a month is my tradition with my girlfriend for the wine and dinner themed meals. Sometimes they have bourbon or other spirits. The staff are always friendly and accommodating which makes the experience even more enjoyable. For the month of May the theme was based on movie night more specifically on the work of Francis Ford Coppola a filmmaker. One of the leading figures of the New Hollywood, Coppola is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. He also has a successful wine business. The meal featured his wines and we got an apron with his name on it. The 4 course meal featured creamy tarragon shrump bruschetta, linguine sostanza with grilled chicken, Tuscan grilled fillet with crab scampi and for dessert… a yummy chocolate walnut brownie with ice cream. Everything was delicious and of course you have the option to order anything off the menu to go for an additional 10 bucks. See you at the next one!!! June 2026 will feature 2 dinners!“

“On July 25th I ordered 1 doz. Large Steamed Crabs ($95) from Madonna Seafood. Madonna "used" to be the best place for crabs. They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.“

“Visited Riley’s Oyster House this past weekend with a local friend while visiting from Miami Beach, and I have to say I was really impressed with the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service.

Our server, Aallyah, was spectacular. Even though the restaurant was very busy, she was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations throughout our visit. She took great care of us and really enhanced the overall experience.

We started with the whitefish dip, which was excellent. I also had a bowl of the cream crab soup and a shrimp salad wrap, both of which were delicious. To top it off, we enjoyed a Big Truck Topless Blonde draft, which paired perfectly with the meal.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. My only hope is that the service is as good as what we received from Aallyah. She set a very high bar. Highly recommend Riley’s Oyster House!“

“Tried lunch at their Timonium location. Was a little difficult to find. Closer to come in off of Padonia Rd instead of York Rd. It is in the race. track upper deck. The restaurant is a decent size but was extremely cold inside. You can watch races on the multiple tvs and even gamble, if you like.
The wait time was nonexistent. We are immediately seated . A waitress appeared. Ordered an iced tea, garden salad and a Seafood Chesapeake sandwich ( which consisted of a crab cake and shrimp salad on wheat bread). Food came quickly. Everything was tasty. Crab cake was a little soft for broiled for my liking. Shrimp salad was average.
Would try this restaurant again during warmer weather.“

We traveled 3 hours back home with half of our meals and the flavor was worthy of slapping someone mama not mine though. My grandprincess enjoyed her honey bbq wings and gave them the thumbs up.“

The homemade meatballs jad everybody raving and their sausage, onions and peppers in marinara sauce was also great. Thankfully we had some left overs that we are still enjoying. Lastly was their Greek salad, very fresh and loaded with feta cheese. I definitely recommend these folks for your next lunch or dinner or when you need an event catered. “We went to dinner here this evening with a large party of 10. While we enjoyed our food and our server was great our overall experience was not 🤦🏼‍♀️. I don’t know if we just had an evening of bad luck or what. First after sitting there a bit a VERY large picture fell off of the wall directly onto me and my 18 month old daughter, then there was a gnat in our drink, and my dad walked outside and a piece of shingle fell off and hit him in the head. Like, I seriously couldn’t make this up. 🤣 like I said food was good and so was our waiter but I feel like a little more could have been done after the picture situation. A cupcake and free drink didn’t really cut it. Had it just fallen on me I wouldn’t have been so upset but the fact that it fell on my daughter made my soul leave my body. We will give it another shot at some point and chock tonight up to the full moon or something just be careful where you sit your kiddos.“

While most places are raising their prices and lowering the amount of food you get, we noticed a slight increase in prices ($1 for my eggplant parm, and a few dollars for crab cakes), we unquestionably actually got MORE food. My eggplant parm was 3 large meals, and the crab cakes were huge, and full of big pieces of crab meat. Definitely the best deal in town.“

The cozy vibes wrapped around us like a warm blanket on a chilly Sunday—it was just what we needed! We settled ourselves at the bar, eager for some drinks and snacks, and that’s where the real fun began. Our bartender was nothing short of a beverage maestro! I ordered a cortado that was so perfectly crafted I nearly swooned. Seriously, it should have been on the cover of a coffee magazine! And let me tell you about their wine list—it’s like a unique art piece. I picked a Pinot Noir to accompany my house-made Old Bay chips, and it was such a delightful pairing that I felt like a sophisticated sommelier for a moment.
