I've lived in the area for a long time and wish I knew about this place sooner! The food is so fresh - fresh, high quality vegetables cooked to serious perfection. It seems like the noodles are all homemade. Nothing felt greasy. The general tso sauce seemed very homemade too. The service was lovely; letting us take our time and not rushing us out like some of the restaurants in the borough. The atmosphere is inviting and super clean (no cleaning supplies visible in the bathroom....
Nice menu. Great food. Reasonable lunch special list of about 8 choices at $8 +. Not sure I would call it a typical Chinese food restaurant and I mean that in a good way. I felt the food had a bit of Japanese influence or should I say a multi-asian cuisine influence. Spicy chicken was amazing. Szechuan tofu was different than I've experienced elsewhere; but the flavor was there with an American spice level of about 3. I sampled the scallion pancake and it didn't disappoint....
This is my Chinese comfort food goto in the Swarthmore Media area. I stop by every time for a great family meal of well prepared fresh cooked Chinese dishes. I've never been disappointed.
