Village Peddler Restaurant and store

I hadn’t eaten here in a long while and thought I’d give it a try again. I ordered a club sandwich and pizza soup to go. The sandwich was delicious and I enjoyed the fresh fruit on the side. Pea pasta salad isn’t my thing but it’s not bad. The pizza soup was a weird idea to me, they were out of the tomato soup which is what I really wanted. Surprised that I actually liked the pizza soup. Everything tasted homemade and I’d definitely try again.

Parking: The location too parking isn’t the easiest for just running in to grab and go. I double parked on the sidewalk and when I came out I had 2 unhappy people waiting. I suppose I’ll just pay and park next time.

We came in for an early lunch on a Monday and were immediately greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread upon entering . There were 3 homemade soups available, two salad specials, and a panini along with a varied menu that surprisingly included several quiches. I had an Asian chicken salad and my husband had a club sandwich. Both were excellent and the service was both friendly and prompt. The decor was quaint and comfortable though not contemporary. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to browse the charming store but will definitely be back.

The village peddler is a true small town America family restaurant, with a relaxed environment that makes you feel right at home. The food is fresh and has heart and soul in every bite. You'd be hard pressed to find a restaurant that better represents the American dream. Built by hard work and determination, the village peddler has been a staple of the community for over 30 years. Run by a talented chef that's a true blue collar worker himself the village peddler is a perfect representation of what small town America is all about.

Hey there! I just have to tell you about my absolute favorite restaurant! The desserts are seriously out of this world! And the staff? They're amazing! But the owner? Super cool. I can't recommend this place enough!
