“Every food item we ordered was good -\nCalzone (the personal size is large enough to share) / side salad ( very generous size) / onion rings ( served hot & crispy) / BBQ wings (meaty & delicious - honey bourbon BBQ sauce is yummy) / perogies sauteed with onions / veggie wrap. We recommend them all. An out-of-the-way eatery & bar. Service was average. Restroom really needs to have a handicapped stall.“

“Three weeks ago my wife and I ordered the Saturday Prime Rib. The food was excellent and the price was exceptionally reasonable. A week later we tried the Prime Rib buffet at the Penn Stater Gardens. First the price was double that of Celebrities and the Prime Rib was only half as good. This past Friday we returned to Celebrities. My wife felt like having something different and the menu did not disappoint. If your looking for great food at a reasonable price you'll find it at Celebrities. We go out to eat once a week and this is the best we have found in the State College area.“

“We were able to get reservations for a Party of 12 on a Friday night and a table for a Party of 14vonna Saturday night in late July 2025. We were all spending the weekend in State College reuniting for our own little Penn State Alumni Reunion of Friends. The Taphouse staff were very professional, helpful, and accommodating. The food and beverages were very good and the wait staff were excellent. I highly recommend this business.“
