The Cheese Shoppe's Guatemala Decaf is the best decaf that I have ever had. I travel an hour to get it every three weeks or so. I mix the decaf with regular coffee also from the Cheese Shoppe. The cheese shoppe is a fantastic little hidden gem in State College. It is one of those unfortunate businesses in the weird half basement things on Calder Way, so it is easy to miss, but make sure you don't miss it! They have a HUGE selection of coffee beans and the staff know everything there is to know about them - where they come from, who farms them, how they are roasted, what they taste like, etc., and I love going in there and just telling them what I am in the mood for...read full review

Cheese shoppe is the coolest cafe in State College. The owners are nice, all the baristas are social and happy to talk. The coffee is old-school which is a plus for me, and they regularly roast in house so you get to be there to see that as well. I wish they'd have more outdoor seating, but space is an issue so I get it.
