I’ve visited this place multiple times, and every time I am met with the rudest service and the snarkiest comments. I don’t know if it’s because I look young for my age and they want an older crowd but they always make a snarky comment about how young I look when asking/looking at my ID. Every time I ask a question or make an order, I get met with a sassy, mean reply. Ex: I asked for a gin and tonic and the follow up was “Are you going to give me any specifics or…” instead of just simply asking me what gin I want. One time I went to sit at the bar, and the bartender says, “Isn’t it obvious these seats are already taken?” (It wasn’t, or I wouldn’t have tried to sit, as I have bar etiquette). Also made some weird remarks to my fellow trans friend while going into the bathroom.
I visited this place multiple times to give it a chance, some people have bad days, but that’s not the case here, it’s consistent. It’s a shame because there aren’t many queer spaces in the area, and the service makes me feel like I’m not queer enough or able to be in that space. My friends who come with me also notice the behavior towards me. The food and drinks are good, but the service has completely turned me off, and I won’t be returning.

Horrible experience. My friends and I came in as a stop on our bar crawl for maybe 20 minutes. we all ordered one drink and made sure to tip well even though the drinks were already overpriced. Bartender kept making snarky remarks at us for sitting at the bar. made us so uncomfortable we needed to leave. On the way out the “bouncer” made horrible comments to us and stated that “sometimes it doesn’t matter if you are paying customers,” basically saying that the disrespect we received was somehow excused. don’t go here.

The bartender took our order but ignored us for awhile until we decided to walk away. Very racist cuz I’m a gay asian. I think all gays should stay away from this so called LGBTQ bar. I got treated fairly in other bars in the town to be honest.

Vegetarian options: The weekly menu is updated on the business's Instagram page, showcasing some seasonal vegetarian soups along with the appetizers or veg. friendly entrées (especially pastas) inspired by ingredient availability.
I’ve lived my entire life as a homosexual and I’ve traveled a lot of places. This is the only bar I’ve felt disrespected multiple times by the “queer” staff . I don’t understand what y’all are trying to do. Honestly if you are gay go elsewhere. This bar is confused.

The bar is a great alternative to the more over crowded, less intimate "college bars". It has a thoughtfully curated beverage menu. Every cocktail was perfect. The bartender was super helpful and friendly!
