I’ve lived my entire life as a homosexual and I’ve traveled a lot of places. This is the only bar I’ve felt disrespected multiple times by the “queer” staff . I don’t understand what y’all are trying to do. Honestly if you are gay go elsewhere. This bar is confused.

The bar is a great alternative to the more over crowded, less intimate "college bars". It has a thoughtfully curated beverage menu. Every cocktail was perfect. The bartender was super helpful and friendly!

Was in town for work. Stopped in for a drink at around midnight. Said hello to the bartender and his response was “ don’t think tonight is your night you’re a bit too stumbley.” I had 2 drinks before this. The other bartender made a look like he was crazy. It was the first week back to college and I get it a lot of young guys were out and about. I look wayyyy younger than I actually am and I feel I was refused service because I looked young. Considering this is a college town and there were no young guys in the bar…that would make sense. I won’t be returning. What kind of gay bar is this???

The perfect neighborhood bar where the drinks are solid, the atmosphere relaxed, and the prices are just high enough to ensure that it’s not overrun by undergrads. It’s the one place I can go downtown that feels like it’s meant for me, not people trying to get drunk fast or parents visiting for the weekend. Thanks Chumleys!
