It's nothing special, but now that they've got the lunch salad bar for ten bucks during the week, that's a pretty good deal. The veggies all seemed pretty fresh and there was a nice variety.

Had salad bar only. All items were basically full, fresh, nice selection. Soup was delicious. Very reasonably priced for all you can eat.

The food and service were good, the restaurant is a bit dated but still a good experience. Plenty of options on the soup and salad bar!

We went to Hoss's this evening for dinner. I had to send my steak tips back twice because they were not cooked right. It took a while for my husband to get his meatloaf mashed potato bowl but when it came out it wasn't very good and cold. I also ate some potato salad from the salad bar that I think was bad.

Stopped at the State College location for dinner Monday afternoon heading back home to Connecticut. Restaurant was clean service was great. The food was not that good. I got the the BBQ chicken breast and baked sweet potato.
I wanted to add the salad bar but didn't look that good.
And not many choices.
I hadn't been to a Hoss in a few years.
But would always stop at one when visiting Pennsylvania.
