Yeah, I got a fortune cookie stating, "Today, I will find a new hobby". That hobby is puking because it wasn't even that good.
The fried rice, was bland, the Sweet and Sour Chicken was bland on a layer of sweet sauce.
The only thing tasty was the fortune cookie. Now I feel bloated and disgusting.

I went here for my birthday for the Hot Pot. I ordered a coke and my friend water with lemon. Already the waitress is problematic because she brought me a coke with a slice of lemon and plain water. The hot pot was disgusting. Then the waitress asked if we wanted “a second bowl of rice” and never brought it…. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!! Only the server and the hostess was nice.

Stop by for a lunch.Well , over priced food was below average would have done better with a fast food chain 56 dollars for 2 people to eat lunch. Just because you cater to the college crowd doesn't mean the food shouldn't be good doubtful , we'll go back

If I could, I'd give it five stars! I only had their lunch special a few times, and then two accidents happened!
The first time was L40, which I often order, stir-fried fragrant leeks and dried leeks. I thought it was strange that a lot of ginger was added that time, and then I found out that the dried fragrant leeks were bad and sour! ! They put so much ginger to suppress the flavor!
This time I ordered L6 today, mushroom chicken slices. The mushrooms are not the shiitake mushrooms I thought which is fine, but the problem is that not a single piece of mushroom is cooked! ! ! And as for vegetables, I tried the pods and they were raw too! ! ! The problem is that the pods look ripe, I don’t like the other ones so I didn’t try them, and then I didn’t dare to try the chicken ones! ! ! fear death. The rice should be good as well as the eggroll, but I don’t like eating so I didn’t try it.
You can look at the photos, they look cooked, but none of them taste cooked. My stomach feels a little uncomfortable now because I ate a piece of mushroom ? and then I was very hungry
I warn you with my stomach not to order their lunch! ! !

ordered shredded beef szechuan which was $21 pretax, came out with 90% celery/ dried chilies. The beef was dried out, tough and in tiny pieces. While it is supposed to be szechuan, they overloaded the dish with the szechuan pepper to bitter levels. We ate a couple of bites and ended up tossing the rest. This place has nose dived. Save your money and go elsewhere.
There is nothing I can say to express how great this place is. The quality of food was beyond anything I even imaged, especially for the price (which is quite fair, esp with inflation as it is!). The service was quick, the wait staff was so wonderful, and just everything. Great. I had been craving some Sichuan eats ever since leaving Chongqing in 2020. This hit that spot and then some. I haven't had Dan Dan Mian like this in YEARS. Not to mention the spicy mala xiaobao and the other entrees I ended up getting (did a bit of a roulette and hoped for the best! - I was not disappointed !) I felt transported back to good days with old friends. I honestly even teared up a wee bit.I wish I had taken photos to show y'all the presentation of dine in as well. It was so crisp and tasty looking. If you even remotely think you might wanna try some of the best Sichuan bites this side of the Pacific, this is your spot. Go here. Don't walk, run over. It slaps.

I love Asian food, and I'm sure I've dined at over a hundred Chinese restaurants around the country. Little Szechuan is among the best of them. Every dish I've ever eaten there is an excellent example of its kind. It would be a good restaurant in New York or San Francisco. We're lucky to have it in State College.

Decent college-town Chinese. Prices are high but the servings are fair.
Were brought in by my cousin who is a PSU student and claimed this is the best authentic Chinese restaurant on campus. But as a Chinese I can say the overall favor is average at best. And don’t be too excited about the menu price which seems fair - portion is pretty small. I wish I took some pictures, but an example would be the cumin lamb 孜然羊肉which in most traditional way is just meat however here it I is really 50+% onions and cilantro. Four of us basically finished it with two tastings each. The worst, however, is the steamed fish 清蒸鲈鱼 recommended by the waitress. They seemed friendly so I let my guard down and not checking the price ahead, but a mid size fish (branzino?) which I can get in bulk at Costco for $10 was charged for $58 and it was horrible. You can still taste earthiness in the meat. And the sauce is just plain soy sauce, just bitter and salty. It was really worse than my own cooking. Coming think of it, it is likely their sly pitch to out of town customers. They also recommended lamb chop. I’m glad I didn’t take the bait. It probably gonna cost $50+. At that price I might as well eat at fine dining, not a college town, mom and pop restaurant.if you’re from out of tow, stay away. Don’t expect an authentic place in a rural college town. If you are PSU students stick with basics not fancy dishes. I’ve heard their lunch specials are OK and because you are a frequent customer they likely wouldn’t do any trick on you.
