This cozy, spicy Chinese restaurant has a homey feel. It's always packed. The dishes are generously portioned and cooked in authentic Chinese style, without any greasy or MSG-laden flavors. The simple, home-style cooking is delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Whether you're dining with a group, a couple, or just alone, you'll find something to please.
There is nothing I can say to express how great this place is. The quality of food was beyond anything I even imaged, especially for the price (which is quite fair, esp with inflation as it is!). The service was quick, the wait staff was so wonderful, and just everything. Great. I had been craving some Sichuan eats ever since leaving Chongqing in 2020. This hit that spot and then some. I haven't had Dan Dan Mian like this in YEARS. Not to mention the spicy mala xiaobao and...
I love Asian food, and I'm sure I've dined at over a hundred Chinese restaurants around the country. Little Szechuan is among the best of them. Every dish I've ever eaten there is an excellent example of its kind. It would be a good restaurant in New York or San Francisco. We're lucky to have it in State College.
