It's in a gas station so its as atmospheric as it can be, but hands down this IS the place to go. Better than the restaurant in downtown. Food is always great, price is great; overall my favorite place to get lunch. Highly recommend!!
Authentic home cooked food. The best tacos I have eaten anywhere.
Great service
The food here is awesome! I usually get sopes and rice, simply delicious at a great price.
The food was fresh. Good value for the money. It more of a take out place then a sit down restaurant.

My all time fave for great Mexican food when you want it fast or to take out. They are super friendly and always happy to see you. Always delicious and generous portions, too! Love the Barbacoa Beef and Lamb. Tamales are made from scratch and wrapped in a natural husk as well! Pico de gallo is also great and the other sauces in the sauce barely are all homemade as well. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu over the years and I always have a hard time deciding because all the options are just so good!

Everyone said the is was the best place to get tacos, so after a first bad experience I gave it another shot. Meat was dry and flavorless. It was so stringy it got stuck in my teeth like mango pulp: never had that happen with taco meat before. Tortillas were cracking, not soaking through but cracking apart like they were quite old.
The carnitas had a really foul flavor: I took one bite, spit it out, and threw the rest away. It smelled like it had spoiled.
The people seemed friendly, and the salsas were okay, but there’s no way I’d recommend getting barbacoa, carnitas, or res tacos here.

The food was what I was looking for ... Simple, authentic Mexican food. No frills, just good food. The carnitas were delicious as well as the beans and rice.

Amazing food at great prices! Hidden inside the UniMart along with a Dunkin Donuts - a great little secret that is becoming more well known everyday!

I have eaten there since their place on Whitehall road when in the area. We went to the downtown location on July 4th. The prices are INSANE!!! I have always got tamales. They were nothing but maseca. All filler. I was very disappointed I have eaten there for years off and on. I’m not going back. Once again central pa will let you down.

Just moved back to Centre County from the Bay Area. Easily the best authentic (not tex Mex) Mexican food I've had in PA. Gave me taco truck vibes. I'll be back for sure.
Superb and indispensable restaurant. I always appreciate the employees, and immediately go here. Easily my fav restaurant in town. I prefer this location over the other, but still, this place has to grow and become even more of a staple in the community.

My all time favorite spot for tacos and Mexican food. Prices are reasonable and the service is fast. It’s definitely a hidden gem type of place nestled inside a gas station in the edge of town… but definitely make this a priority to visit. My favorite wis the gorditas and the meals which can easily feed 2.
