Very nice coffee shop. Very friendly staff. The coffee was slightly sour. The peach toast I got was really good. Very solid crunch on the bread. The protein smoothie was my favorite.

It’s one of my favorite coffee places here. The coffee is good. I don’t have pictures but I tried their biscuit and jam and their cookies and they were all good especially the biscuit and jam. It can get loud and a bit crowded at times, but it’s spacious enough compared to other cafés.

I'm no fan of a place that puts the chairs on the tables a half hour+ before closing. This invites us all to leave; and invites me to look for another cafe next time.
At this point, they should list their closing time as 2:30. Even if you're already there, that's when they start pressuring you to leave.

This is my go to place to grab a table for some work during mornings when I need a café atmosphere and good coffee. The free parking is a big plus!! Their food is okay, but their bakery items and their coffee is where they actually shine. I love that they provide water to drink to their customers. I only wish they brought back some kind of hazelnut coffee (but in the meantime their toasted marshmallow latte is to die for). And I also wish they could warm up the place a tad bit more but the high ceilings prevent that I guess. It’s just very very cold during winter months. Overall, amazing place and ☕️
I think they need to update their hours: swung by at 2:30 and they had all the chairs up on tables, looked like they were wrapping up their closing clean.

I’m from out of town but travel here often and whenever I do, I stop at Rothrock. Service is usually pretty great and so is the coffee. Didn’t have a great experience today. I came in to order a black drip coffee to go. I was the third one in line, but when I came in, it was totally quiet and I could tell something was going on with the computer, but then they started taking the couple of orders ahead of me. Those orders were for dine in and they had a food item and a drink that had to be made. When it got to my turn because I said it was to go, she told me that they couldn’t take my order. I wasn’t asked if I wanted to wait until the systems came up or anything, but she didn’t hesitate to take the other peoples orders because they were sitting there and I assume they figured they could collect payment when the system came up. If that the case that’s a weird way for them to look at it because those people could also just leave….Based off of the service today I don’t plan on coming back for some time. Either you take everyone’s order or you take no orders…. “ Hey, sorry everybody our systems are down. We won’t be able to take any orders at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Feel free to wait or come back at another time.” I would’ve been totally fine with that, but to take the people ahead of me was kind of rude.

But the barista stares you down as their tablet point-of-sale demands a tip starting at 20%. Here's a tip: pay your workers a fair wage and price your products accordingly. A 20% guilt-tripped upcharge is absolute nonsense.
