I stayed here with my girlfriend and needless to say everything was wonderful except for the one housekeeper, her name was Elisha and needless to say she was rude when we asked her for extra shampoo.

This hotel is a solid option for this side of town. We stay here when visiting my family at the retirement home directly across the street. Clean room, comfy beds, small but clean bathroom. Good work space. Small fridge but no microwave. Coffee pot in the room. They serve breakfast made to order in the lobby, but we didn't eat there, so I cannot comment on the food. Didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked like a good option for swimming a few laps. Adequate parking spaces available. My feeling is that the price point is just a bit high for what you get, the only fault I can find with this hotel.

Traveling for business, I tucked into the Courtyard for the evening. It's a well established facility that provides great old fashioned service. I was warmly greeted by Jose Felix, a well skilled service professional. He recognized my membership and thanked me for my loyalty. It's the little things that make a long business trip less laborious. My accommodations were tidy and clean. The hotel's location is wonderful. Close to many key spots in State College. Jose and many of his team members reached out to me at breakfast, asking about my stay and discussing local sports. Great place with high level of service excellence.

I just stayed for 2 nights during PSU orientation. I liked that I could be on the campus in about 6 minutes which I think was closer than the Springhill I stayed in the last time. The room was good and the bed was comfy. I am not a fan of tub showers, but they made up for it by have miniature shampoos etc and not those gross 'environmental' bug pump ones that gross me out. One negative was the first morning with "Do not disturb" on the door, we were woken up by housekeeping because she was doing inventory and wanted to know if we had a microwave in the room. I was not happy at all, and after I told her so, as she was walking away she called me rude ( I wasn't). But outside of that incident I was happy with my stay.

What a great location with very spacious suites. We stayed with the family and had great comfort. The building is new and nicely decorated and maintained very well. Swim pools looks great, we wish we had our swim suite in the middle of the snow storm just to enjoy a bit swimming in this relaxing pool. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood.

We were very pleased with the Courtyard Marriott in State College. The room and the common areas were very clean and spotless. While only there for one night, this was our first hotel stay in over a year and a half and it was a big concern for us. I'm not sure everyone was masked indoors and we avoided the lobby/Bistro area in the evening as there was a large group gathered there having pizza or something. Kids were also in the pool and hanging around but it did not impinge on us al all. Goldie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and found a restaurant with outdoor seating for dinner for us. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

We just stayed here while exploring the State College area for 2 nights. Our stay was good, but there is room for improvement. Overall the staff here were amazing. Everyone I talked to and encountered was super warm and welcoming. They were all super kind! This goes all the way from the front desk to housekeeping!! The room we stayed in on the 3rd floor, (320) was nice overall. It had no funky smells or odors. The beds were super comfortable overall. The room also had a balcony which was super nice! The hotel itself is nice, however parts of it are starting to show its age. All the hallways did have a funky smell and were very hot and stuffy. The 3rd floor hallway carpet was very dirty as well, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. I would stay here again overall if the price were right since the rooms were super clean and the staff were also super friendly!

The pool was open and warm enough for the kids to play (huge bonus for travel). The rooms were spacious and clean. The bistro was closed during covid (which we didn’t know until we arrived). Staff was nice and answered questions about the area for us.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Courtyard State College. Check in process was very quick, rooms are clean and in great condition. The hotel is central to several local restaurants and highways are easily accessible. Although the hotel was sold out due to a basketball tournament it never felt overcrowded and there was always ample parking available. Would’ve been nice if the restaurant/ bar were open but overall I would return.

Our group stays at the Courtyard by Marriott every year for the Indoor State Track championships. They always take great care of us. We get the conference room, a catered dinner, breakfast, all at great prices. We would not stay anywhere else.

Thank you for making my check-in fast and pleasant Aminah! Courtyard By Marriott State College never disappoints me. The staff is always so kind and helpful. The beds are very comfy. It feels great to come into a place that is well kept inside and out. Thank you so much for your hospitality and I look forward to staying again in the future! This is a hotel I would refer people to stay for any occasion!

Overall the hotel was beautiful. The room was homey and the couch was quite comfortable and had photoshoot potential. The only issue I found was in the bathroom. They had not updated the shower head or the bathtub. The shower head was this weird rain shower wannabe and you could tell once upon a time the tub had a rubber mat. Really it is not that had to change a freaking shower head out.

We stayed there to move my son to PennState. I am a regular Marriott customer, so I booked there for points and status really. Might not be the best location for moving standpoint, but very spacious, clean and comfortable as you would expect from a Marriott group hotel. They staff was really friendly and helpful as well. Will most probably stay there again when I come visit my son.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the past year and have always had a positive experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are always clean and nicely laid out. I love that I can connect to my Netflix account from the TV in the room.
