Based on customer reviews, The Whale Tea & Nori Poke is a very cute shop with a great vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and super accommodating. One quirk is that orders are placed through an electronic kiosk, but the barista and workers are friendly and tell customers to ask if they have questions. The poke is delicious. The drinks are also a highlight. One customer got the Whale Crystal, a drink of blue coconut milk and tao jiao (peach tree jelly). The drink was very good, with an interesting texture and very subtle floral taste from the tao jiao. The barista recommends mixing the drink before drinking. The sweetness level was not adjustable for the drink, but it was not too sweet. Another customer drives an hour just for the boba, stating the teas are so good and the milk tea is better than anywhere in the Bay. Customers enjoy the atmosphere and like spending a couple of hours at this place doing their own stuff.
