Tokyo Sushi & Hibachi

Just passing through the area and kids wanted hibachi. Unfortunately they do not have a hibachi “show” but the food and great service make up for that. Everything was fresh and delicious, many unique options to choose from. Waitress was wonderful. Highly recommend.

The beef teriyaki bento box at Tokyo Hibachi and Sushi was tasty and filling. The meat was tender, and the sides were fresh. The staff was friendly and quick, making the whole meal a great and easy experience.

Every semester, I come here multiple times to enjoy Japanese cuisine. The ingredients here are fresh and the dishes are diverse, such as salmon sashimi and eel sushi, all of which are very delicious. The pleasing presentation of the dishes also shows the store's attention to details. The staff's attitude is also excellent. They always ask for my opinion on the taste of the dishes and do their best to meet my requests, such as grilling the chicken skewers more tenderly and providing free refills of cola. The environment and table settings of the restaurant can also accommodate multiple people for a meal. In the future, I will bring friends here to experience it.

Hands down one of the best places you can go for a authentic experience for sushi, sashimi and more! The itamae takes his craft seriously preparing each plate with precision accuracy along with some of the best presentation I've seen. Our sever was super generous and attentive to our table and not once had to ask for a single thing! The sashimi and sushi was hands down the best I've had freshness and flavor wise and wish I had more room in my belly to explore the more options! This is also a small family ran business which makes the experience that much better so if you visit please be patient and respectful as it takes a immense amount of time and energy to put that amount of care into each plate! Will definitely visit again and it's definitely worth driving from outside of the State College area for this place! You won't regret it!

I love Tokyo Sushi and Hibachi! I get take out or dine in pretty often, and both experiences are wonderful. The staff are super friendly, the food is AMAZING (best sushi in PA in my opinion), and the restaurant is so cozy! It’s a gem that I recommend to everyone I know.

We had a memorable dinner here last night — not just because of the amazing food, but also due to an unexpected power outage that affected the whole downtown area because of the weather. Despite that, our server was incredibly attentive and helpful, making excellent recommendations and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout. The atmosphere remained warm and welcoming, and it honestly added to the uniqueness of the evening. A truly special experience — we can’t wait to come back!

My favorite place to go for both quality and price, portions are a good size too!
Everyone is always so nice when I come in, I usually come in for their Sashimi entree and normally see the same girl who is the sweetest everytime.
(Dining in they are always very attentive too)
