When my family first walked in, it was a very comfortable environment. The menu had a variety of Korean dishes to try and we got the Korean Corndogs + fried dumplings. The corndogs were deliciously fried and the dumplings had so much flavor with the vegetables. The service was equally as amazing with the serve yourself aspect and the kindness of the owner who we had communicated with. I highly recommend trying this place out if you are ever in the area!

Only ordered from GrubHub so this review doesn't reflect their service or atmosphere. Ordered the bulgogi rice dish and it was the worst I've ever had. The only way i was able to get flavor, was to eat a piece of the meat by itself. It was bland as anything could be. I complained to GrubHub and they gave me a refund. I wont order from this place ever again. I ordered from Kimchi Korean Restaurant instead.

Really sad this time. I ordered wings, but what I got was chicken breast and body pieces—it looked like they mistakenly sent the whole chicken instead. I contacted the platform, but the platform said the restaurant insisted it was wings. I used to really like this place and have ordered many times before, but the way they handled this was very disappointing.

Yes, this is about the order with SC, via IMCOMING on the evening of the 26th—order number ending in 80001. I might have used the word “carcass” incorrectly (fixed above), but I’m pretty sure what I received wasn’t wings (attached). I’ve been a loyal customer and have placed dozens of orders from your shop before, so I can tell the difference. I also sent the image to the platform’s customer support, but they said your shop insisted this was wings. I’d be happy to update my review if you could take another look. Thanks!

The Koop has some of the best Korean Fried Chicken you can get in the State College area! People are friendly and nice and the inside of the restaurant has a great vibe!

The Koop is amazing! I've been there multiple times with my friends and loved it every time. If this is your first time having Korean food I would definitely suggest having it here!! I've had the yukgaejang (my personal favorite), ddukbokki, ddukgook soup and the galbi rice dish! The atmosphere is so fun as the walls are covered in customers' drawings and doodles along chickens in frames! The dining room is in like a cozy nook which makes the restaurant feel more comfortable and familiar to home. If you ever are in State College, DEFINITELY stop by!

It was one of the first places I went to in State College. Great food, the chicken is fire but don't count out the other things on the menu, great service, friendly attitude, and just overall great vibe in the space. It's a place, I've gone to over and over again!
