Broth is all the same for every kind of noodle soup, also has a lot of msg. Really wanted to give a 4 but the food quality is mediocre at the best. Although the owner who’s also the chief is very friendly. And the hand pulled noodles is house made. Self serve restaurant besides the owner brought the food to table.
I love this place, but it is true their food can be either hit or miss. So far I loved every soup I got from here, especially egg and tomato! It is such a comfort food. They also have other dishes that doesn't seem too authentic, which I haven't (wouldn't) try. I have recommended this place to my friends but always told them to get actual Chinese food, not like ramen. The owner is also very friendly. I don't speak any Chinese but I could see he cares about...
I walked in and ordered the oil noodles. The woman next to me ordered the exact same thing and got a nearly full bowl which I thought was very odd. I looked at the other people seated in the restaurant. They have gigantic bowls of food as well. My takeout food was less than half full. Also, the meat is very very strange. I’m not sure it’s beef.
