Irie Reggae Grill in Swiftwater, PA is the best Jamaican restaurant in the Poconos. The Jamaican flavors are out of this world, and the food is delicious, mouth watering, and authentic. Everything is fresh and flavorful, with veggie patties made on site. The pork was a crowd favorite, and the curry chicken, jerk chicken, oxtail, and brown stew are amazing. The chicken is super moist with just the right amount of heat, and the jerk sauce is delicious. The bammy, veggie patty, roti, and an extra side of plantains are also highly recommended. While the portions are not large and it is a little costly at $25 a person, the quality is worth it. The place is a small hole in the wall, locally owned spot. Even picky kids love it. The customer service is amazing, and the people that work here are the best. Paula is incredibly nice, welcoming, and an absolute gem who helps pick out the perfect foods.
