We won’t patronize someone who practices underhanded business techniques any longer.
As a customer and member of the East Stroudsburg community I want to be clear about what is happening with Jimmy’s Ice Cream on Crystal Street.
For years this location was run by Chuck and Laurel. They built more than an ice cream shop. They supported ESU athletics raised over fifty thousand dollars for local programs hosted school fundraisers and employed hundreds of local students over time. Often times, these smaller road side food stands go unnoticed because the franchised fast food places are dotted everywhere.
After a long day at the Crossings, we saw the long line and decided to give it a go.
Something quick and familiar, we ordered an 8” cheesesteak that sign mentioned a 1/2 pound of meat, $9.25.
A cheeseburger on seeded roll with ketchup, $5.25.
And added a bundle of great French fries with a fountain drink, refillable, $4.99.
