The food is all absolutely delicious ?Portions are very generous.Restaurant is clean and well kept..Prices are fair.Staff are all friendly and competent.The owner runs a very relaxed, hometown Cafe where everyone is treated like family.I highly recommend this business
We always eat here when visiting our daughter. This is the kind of place where the owner remembers your beverage choice, even when you only eat there a few times a year! All the breakfast choices are great and they have fantastic marbled rye toast. Excellent coffee and a homey cabin-like atmosphere to boot. Try it if you get to Tionesta!
You have only one other diner choice in town, and it's across from the open-air market, but you will not be disappointed. Helps if you have been eating at a cabin or on the trail for a few days prior! The chocolate bear claw was way better than the maple. Funny menu items like "Bear wiener" were a hoot. Yes, there is a taxidermied black bear in there, not sure if it's real or fake. Was busy on Sunday at 11am. Ask for "crispy hashbrowns" because the home fries weren't anything...read full review
