“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! As a bonus they have a late 50s to mid 60s vibe.”

They know how to do it right with that deep southern flair, and I’m talkin’ about some of the *best* chicken I’ve had in ages. The chicken was a perfect balance of crispy and tender—juicy on the inside, with a crunchy golden crust that packs a savory punch. There’s a light Cajun seasoning dusted over every piece, just enough to give it that southern kick without overpowerin' the flavor.

And let me tell ya about those potato wedges! They were still warm when they hit the table, with a flakey, crispy outside and fluffy inside that practically melted in my mouth. Couldn’t get enough of ‘em.

Now, I gotta give a shout-out to the biscuit. This biscuit was *everything*. Soft, warm, and never dry, it had just the right touch of sweetness, paired with that buttery savory flavor that makes you feel like you’re sittin’ at grandma’s Sunday table.

“I ordered a bunch of cheesesteaks for my roofing crew all of which were made different. the lady that took my order was very nice and the cheesesteaks were very good! The bread was fresh and the vegetables on the cheesesteaks were fresh as well!”

“I'm from Jersey and went to the Poconos for my birthday. I wanted something good and simple to eat at the resort. This place was it! It was a Thursday, so I chose the BBQ chicken and rice n peas. Delicious!!!! I'm glad I got the Buss-up roti with veggies (pumpkin n spinach). My goodness!!! The flavors!!! Nothing I ate was overly salty or spicy. I wish I lived close by. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend!”

“I didn't care for the crab Rangoon, as it had big pieces of onion in it. They should've called it onion Rangoon. Had to throw it out, it was terrible! I also ordered sesame Chicken. Was delicious, just a bit dry & tough. Sweet & sour chicken was good. They didn't add any fortune cookies to my order which I thought everyone got for free. I guess they do things differently in PA. Sorry to say I won't be going back to this place.”

A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”
