“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! As a bonus they have a late 50s to mid 60s vibe.”

“I'm from Jersey and went to the Poconos for my birthday. I wanted something good and simple to eat at the resort. This place was it! It was a Thursday, so I chose the BBQ chicken and rice n peas. Delicious!!!! I'm glad I got the Buss-up roti with veggies (pumpkin n spinach). My goodness!!! The flavors!!! Nothing I ate was overly salty or spicy. I wish I lived close by. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend!”

And let me tell ya about those potato wedges! They were still warm when they hit the table, with a flakey, crispy outside and fluffy inside that practically melted in my mouth. Couldn’t get enough of ‘em.

Now, I gotta give a shout-out to the biscuit. This biscuit was *everything*. Soft, warm, and never dry, it had just the right touch of sweetness, paired with that buttery savory flavor that makes you feel like you’re sittin’ at grandma’s Sunday table.

Yes food was not only wonderful but the quantity of the food was so worth it for the price we paid but our host made the whole night and the whole dining experience is so worth stopping. A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”
