“While not exactly fine dining, Herman's excels at simple fare like BBQs and hot dogs. They have a nice variety of sundaes to choose from, and though the ice cream flavors are limited, it is still one of the best places to go for a cold treat.“
“If you like good quality chocolate, Premise Maid is the best. It can be rather expensive but there are definitely things for $2-3 dollars like chocolate pops for kids in fun shapes like motorcycles, fire engines, trains, planes and animal shapes. A good find is going after a holiday, in my case, valentine day, I got lots of great candy for 50% off.“
“This place is one of my favorite ice cream places. The ice cream is so creamy and delicious. The farm where the ice cream shop is in is pretty and they have a small spot for merchandise. They allow you to take samples and they have tons and tons of flavors! I definitely recommend the Peach and Chocolate Chip dough ice cream flavors. They also sell individual ice cream tubs so you can take some home, they also have seating outside.“
“Reppert's is a great little mom-and-pop candy shop in the little Oley Valley. The last time I was there to buy was when I was in high school, i think.Anyway, I was super happy with my visit today. A young man named Kelton was very welcoming and helpful. I was picking out candy for Valentine's day, as one does, and he made sure that I had everything I needed before I left.Many older folks seem to think that the 'younger generation' has lost their hospitality. But as a millennial, I think that's unfair. The three people working were younger than me, in their teens or 20s, and were model employees. While I was being taken care of by Kelton, a young lady was helping a gentleman next to me, while another young lady restocked and tidied the displays in front of the counter. At the end of the day, people are people, regardless of age. And, at Reppert's, they have good people. I encourage everyone to swing by and pick up some delicious candy for any occasion (or none at all!). And I encourage the management of the store to thank Kelton and his coworkers for carrying on a tradition of small-town service that makes Reppert's worth coming back to.“

“What a wonderful place!! The 50s decor is really upbeat... everything is spotlessly clean... the service is excellent... very friendly. There is outdoor seating if desired. “Can't go wrong with Rita's. Small parking lot and not much of a line when I went. Love their custards and all the flavor options. Only thing is that they didn't banana flavor at this location, p**** I settled for watermelon which is almost just as good. I ordered the small and it's plenty for me. Will definitely be back.“
