We [2] visited on a sunday evening, so it was fairly busy for early evening. Service was a little slow but you never know what's going on behind the scenes. Maybe they are a little short handed. We just ordered sandwiches, they were good. And drinks were satisfying. Would recommend, but remember to plan extra time as they claim they make everything fresh to order, which I do believe.
November 2022Pub atmosphere with a big bar and lots of TVs in a building over 200 years old. Very good prices with a standard American fanfare menu. The cheesesteak was really good, very generous on the meat with a fresh roll, just a tad too greasy. The prime rib sandwich was okay, very fatty and the fries were generic. Overall a good pub experience and a solid four stars due to average food with great prices.

The staff and management of The Trappe Tavern made planning, setting up and holding the baby shower such a breeze.The food was perfect, the staff went above and beyond to make sure the baby shower went off without any issues.The servers and bartenders took excellent care of everyone.It made for a perfect day!
