“My wife and I went to the Trappe recently. We hadn't been in years because we felt that the food quality had fallen off. However, a friend had recently told me that he had a good experience with their their two for Tuesday special, so we decided to give it a try.

We were pleasantly surprised. My wife got the ribs and I got the salmon. Both came with two fresh side salads of our choice, Cajun corn, and mashed potatoes.

I really enjoyed the salmon in my wife also equally enjoyed the ribs.

We had a nice evening and the prices were reasonable. My wife had a $12 drink and I had a diet Coke and all told with a 20% tip the bill came out to a little over $70 which is not bad in this day and age.

The atmosphere of the trap hasn't changed much over the years, which is kind of charming in its own way.

We will definitely consider going back again and getting the special.“

“Went to Eddie V's in King of Prussia with friends for dinner and had an amazing experience. The food was top-tier—do not miss the crab fried rice! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every course, from the sides and mains to the wine. Leigh provided outstanding service with great menu recommendations, a friendly demeanor, and nailed the timing. “I have been coming to PJW’s in Malvern essentially since it opened, often with long breaks in between visits when I am out of town. But no matter when I roll in, I am remembered and greeted warmly and enthusiastically by everyone on staff there, a-la Norm from “Cheers”! Often flying solo, I mostly sit at the bar, where the fantastic staff takes care of me with phenomenal warmth and humor each and every time. Rachel is the hardest working person whom I have ever beheld in any industry, multitasking flawlessly without ever breaking her smile and composure! Julianna, one of my favorite people encountered anywhere, personifies fun and friendliness, and I once witnessed her handle two separate wedding parties who rolled in without reservations stampede into the bar and all try to order. Served with aplomb; it was remarkable. Alyssa makes college football Saturdays wonderful for alums of far flung schools, and Emma and Shay keep great conversation flowing with the libations. The menu has reduced in size since the days of Covid, but what remains is delicious and dependable. If you are a salmon fan, you are going to love it here, and if you are an aficionado of smash burgers, get your snaps in! Good stuff! Management is great; they care about the patrons and also about the staff. “the food was exception al and the service was impeccable. eliza asia and ivan were especially great my oonly draw back was that there was no valet when we arrived to help me with my sisters wheelchair and I was told someone would be there Opening the door to the restarant was therefore difficult“

“I don’t go here as often as I would like, but every time I have gone, the food has always been delicious, and the owners and staff are always so friendly and crack a joke or two! I love this food and it makes me want to learn how to cook it myself, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do it as well as them. The rice w/beans with pork and chicken, called “Rob’s Special”, is so good. Their plantain stuffed with beef, as well as their meat patties, are so good. “Over a month ago my daughter and I had lunch at Seasons 52, King of Prussia. I am really careful regarding eating out because I have sensitivities to certain foods which include onions, scallions, shallots, leeks, chives, and garlic. I explained everything to my server. She went above and beyond and consulted with the Chef to make sure there were no mistakes with my order. She did a wonderful thing! David Jacobo, the Executive Chef Partner at Seasons 52 came to my table and discussed what he could do. He prepared a special appetizer of "Flatbread" which was artfully plated and decadent with fresh basil. He also added a special side to replace a dish that was not on my diet. Chef David came to our table several times to question how I was enjoying his specific dishes. I know firsthand about being turned away from a restaurant because they could not accommodate certain dietary requests. A wonderful experience from the start with an attentive waitress and caring Chef. Highly recommend.“

“It’s dated, a bit worn, and absolutely perfect!
First time here, so I got a small Zep, a small cheesesteak, fries & a coke.

Zep sandwich - absolutely awesome!!! The cooked bologna (which refers to how it is made, as it is still a cold-cut and is not fried and served warm as I was expecting!), was a tasty variation of salami that I really enjoyed. Served on a local “Conshohocken roll” - which was puffy/doughy/yummy. Garnished with provolone, ripe tomatoes slices, generous onion slices, olive oil & spices. I then added some of the pepper relish (not spicy) that was in a jar on the table, to mix up the bites. Unique & delicious - a great sandwich!

Cheesesteak - I added grilled onions, lettuce, tomato & mayo. The meat was juicy, flavorful, of high quality, and was just the right amount. I enjoyed the softer hoagie bun (as opposed to the crusty sesame seed variety usually served in the city at the traditional places). A really good cheesesteak!

Fries - the only thing I wasn’t
“wowed” by. Totally fine, but nothing special.

Coke - came out of a fountain, and included a refill - the way it should be! Bonus - it tasted a tad syrup-heavy, which I’m not complaining about…

Overall - this place is a gem, and is worth a visit if you are in the area. The food is great, and walking into the restaurant is literally stepping back in time. Loved paying at the register on the way out, with requisite random candy for sale on the counter. Reminded me of going out to eat with my parents as a kid in the 70’s.“
