“Wanted a quick sandwich for lunch and search engine lead us to Casale's. It's very old school: you walk up to the counter, place the order, and whenever it's ready the server brings it to your table.

There was one person working and we were convinced we were gonna be there forever. Somehow she knocked out two cold sub sandwiches, two grilled pita sandwiches, some garlic cheese bread, and two fountain sodas in under 15 minutes.

She's a rockstar.

Parking: Not a lot of street spots available. The lot catty corner will run you about $2 for an hour or two. Not worth the ticket even on a Saturday.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. It's no Chuck E. Cheese, but they'll be okay.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can eat here if you're in a wheelchair. Door is wide enough and the tables move around.“
