“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.
But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.
They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!
Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.
We're off to our reservation with David - can't wait! If you go, make sure to say hi to him and tell him Mink sent you!
Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

“I haven't been here since the pandemic began. The food was good - typical of Center City casual lunch places. Burger was very good, so were the fries. Got to say the Wings appetizer with the dry rub used to be incredible.. Sometimes we'd go there just for the wings. But now, they were meh. Perhaps it is just me, but they just seemed kinda uninteresting.
Service was average - what id expect for that kind of place. Again, nothing amazing.
In summary, it is fine. Nothing to brag about but good enough to go back to.“

“Went in early Saturday night with a larger group of friends. They directed us to the small bar on the right of the entrance and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, our bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were DELICIOUS! My friends commented it was one of the best espresso martinis they’ve ever had!“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“We found this gem of a place by accident. Walking near our Airbnb while on a trip down from Canada to see our Flyers play. This is a local bar/restaurant but we were welcomed in and had a great time. Super friendly staff, service was fantastic. It was a great place to hangout. We will 100% add this place to our favourites and return when we are back down again for a game. We came mostly for drinks but one guy had their wings and said they were excellent.“

“I really like the vibe in this place. I was very surprised to walk in and see mostly folks in there. I did find it odd that they had security, but i have only been here once so I don't know how wild it gets. They had karaoke going on which drew in a large crowd. Would go again to try out the food“

“We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. They treat you like family and they are our favorite local restaurant hands down. Highly recommend for events, lunch/dinner, or casual drinks at the bar! Thank you Westgate!!!“

“We love it here, used to walk past it!! One day the nicest blonde bartender yelled & caught our attention while we walked our puppy. He assured us of the dog friendly environment and great food. We can confirm and OMG THE FOOD is amazing!! Espresso Martini on point. Love it here!! Dogs love the cool floor, past the businesses of Main Street, a perfect end to a nice walk.“

“The service inspite being busy is amazing and the staff there are top notch. I came by there on Wednesday and to describe it, a lot more retro and great service. The atmosphere definitely surpassed my expectations. I recommend it not only for it being a pub & pizza restaurant, for how popular it is. For that it gets a 10/10 it brings some major sports vibes!“

The colonial era inn claims the finely-detailed rich brown wood bar is original.We visited for the first time to see the final performance of the fantastic groove-band the Sacred Cowboys. “Was in Philly for a conference and our flight back to Texas was delayed until the next morning. Me and my friends, a total of 9 of us found this place that was still open. BEST DECISION EVER!! We were all so glad we came here and it was the best service! Ashley was our waitress and she was the absolute best and so sweet. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious!! My friend got the mac and cheese and she said it was the best mac and cheese she's ever had!“

“Another trucker review here. If you’re staying at the TA across the street for the day or resetting this is definitely a nice place to hit up. Food was good and so was the beer (and I’m not a huge beer person honestly). Prices are pretty average compared to larger establishments like BJ’s Brewhouse. Bartender was friendly and did a good job keeping up with checking on everyone at the bar regularly. If I ever wind up back at the TA across the street for a reset I’m definitely coming back.“

Ok, l am a classic carnivore, meaning, l am very much in to meat and potatos, and during a business trip in Phliadelphia l pass by a small yet attractive place, it look quiet but cozy, so l decided to give it a try...
...what a big surprise when l got the best ribeye and mashed potatos that l had in a long time, cooked to medium perfection, perfectly seasoned, and those mashed potatos, just like grandma's flavors...
It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Gary, the owner, who kindly possed with me for the photo...
I highly recommend this place Mr. Gary and his well trained Team will make you feel at home, don't miss it!!!
