As the dive bars rapidly disappear in and around Philly, the Waterford is a classic hold out. Cheap beers (yes they raise the price a bit for Tower shows, but it's still way cheaper than the $12 lagers inside the Tower). Classic horseshoe bar, limited menu (pro tip- Upper Darby has some of the best Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese food in Philly, eat first and then grab a beer here). The places loses a star for the one annoying thing about old dive bars- they allow inside smoking...
Love this place, older crowd and great for watching sports. They also cook some great food. Bar tenders are very friendly and fast. So if you want a cool relaxed atmosphere to just chill and have a drink, this is the place to do it.

All I can say is I absolutely love this place mixed crowd with beautiful people, everyone's welcomed and the staff is beyond wonderful. If your an introvert the place is still for you, no one harasses anyone here and it's is very very minimal drama going on. Best bar/sports bar I've ever stepped i !
