I grew up in Delco, but now live in Scotland with my Scottish boyfriend. When we come back to the states to visit Civeras is our first and last meal (and several in between!). Fast, friendly, reliable, great variety, consistently amazing. Hidden gem of Delco. I have your magnet on my fridge here in Scotland to remind me of my favorite hoagies!
I tried there steak and it’s was so delicious and the people are so respectful.
Delicious steaks, hoagies and deli sandwiches. Fries, onion rings, beer, snacks, deli salads, etc.. Always a treat. The most amazing grilled Reuben I've ever had.
Edit: I understand Civera's deli is under new management and the staff was let go in April 2026. I have visited since and the steak sandwiches are still fabulous. I was afraid sandwiches wouldn't be the same under new management, but little has changed. Still recommend.

Civera's Deli is a hidden gem in #Delco, known for its made-to-order, delicious food. The staff is helpful, friendly, and efficient, making it a solid option for families with kids, who will enjoy the solid French fries and tenders. The menu features a variety of sandwiches, including the roast beef, pepper ham, and the most amazing grilled Reuben. The Philly Cheesesteaks are overstuffed with delicious meat, cheese, and onions, served on a seeded roll, and the French fries are particularly noteworthy. The deli also offers delicious cold cut trays, salads, and snacks, making it a treat for any occasion. The roasted, sharp Rabe is highly praised as the best across many establishments, with juicy, meaty cutlets and perfectly peppery rabe. The Italian hoagie, made with fresh ingredients, is generally tasty, though a little more sweet peppers could enhance it. The beer and cider selection is decent. Parking is limited, with only 6-7 spots shared with other stores, but there is plenty of space just off the main intersection. Overall, Civera's Deli remains a great spot for a satisfying meal.
