“What a find! Flavorful, decorative and clean atmosphere, and very economical. Was looking for a walkable place from PPG that's good for a group and it's literally right across the street. The menu is build-your-own so everyone can get what they want (think Chipotle for Mediterranean food - but much better quality and flavor!). It's very economical too, which is rare for this area. They even brought our group free lentil soup samples that were SO good! They have a kids menu as well. Will be coming again!“

“Went for a late dinner after the Heidelberg October fest with my fiancé and 5 year old for the first time since the expansion. I had high expectations because we have had take out multiple times and have been pleased. We were not disappointed! We had a hot dog, Cuban sandwich, torts with salsa (AMAZING as always), tater tots and the soup special. Everything was great but the pumpkin/corn harvest chowder was phenomenal, the complexity and layers of flavors was out of this world. I am not easily impressed so I was blown away by our meal. Our server/bartender was great and went out of his way to ensure we had a stellar experience. We will be back again soon!“

“Burgers are alright, although the onion rings are really hit or miss; sometimes they're made fresh and when they are they slap, other times they're the pre-made frozen style and they're below average.

It's a shame, I'm sure people would buy them more if they were made fresh all the time“

“Went to Bubba's for the first time on Saturday.

Our server Savannah was amazing.

Was an issue with one of our orders. Asked for no onion, saw Savannah enter the order as no onion, but when the burger came out, it had onions. Ask for it to be fixed, burger was returned with 3/4 of the onions picked off. Asked for the burger to be remade, wait another 20 minutes then the burger was almost completely pink when we asked for no pink.

Spoke to Roxy, FOH manager. She was very understanding and was nice enough to listen to my frustration. Handled the situation perfectly. Got the order right, then comped our meals since we had to deal with that experience.

Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere was great. A nice place to watch a hockey game at Southpointe or catch some live music.

Would have rated 5 stars if not for the it taking 3 times to get the order correct.“

“This was my first time going here to eat ?. The menu has a alot of options for your appetite ?. It took me at least 2 times to really decide what to eat with out changing my mind. When I finally decided, the food was hot, fresh, seasoned. “Not the same as it was, but the new owner is passionate and the staff is top notch. I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.“

“Primanti Bros gets the attention, but every time I come to Pittsburgh for a game I go to Peppi's. Home of the Roethlis-burger (fantastic) Peppi's is a must visit. It's also close to Yinzer's so there's plenty of places to pick up some gear before or after you grab a sandwich. I love this place!“

“This is the ONLY OTB we go to. Even though we live a little closer to Hastings and parking is a bear on the South Side, this location has the BEST menu. The burgers are excellent, they have amazing shrimp tacos and THE BEST FRIES WE HAVE EVER HAD. Seriously, it boggles my mind that the other locations don't have the same menu as this location.

We were told that the owner was planning to change the menu of this location to align with the other two and honestly, I think that's a huge mistake. This one is the OG and the best. PLEASE don't mess with success!“

“Our family of 5 were on our way to Applebee's for lunch today. Unfortunately, we were in a car accident at the main intersection before the restaurant. Another car had hit us, leaving our car disabled. While everyone involved was okay, our lunch plans were obviously changed. While waiting for the tow trucks and clean up, 2 of my children and myself needed to use the restroom. We walked into the restaurant and asked to use the bathroom, explaining the situation, and the server we interacted with was beyond amazing. (I'm sorry I didnt get her name. We were rather shaken up.) She told us of course we could use the restrooms and asked if we were okay and if we needed anything else. She and a manager on duty checked on us one more time before we left, sending us out with water and the invitation to come back if we needed anything. As if we needed another reason to love this restaurant, they were so extremely sweet to us even when we weren't paying customers. They were just good humans. We never did get our Applebee's lunch today, but will definitely be back for our lunches and to thank them again for the generosity and compassion. ❤️❤️“
