“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. “My husband and I came for our somewhat late 9:45p reservation, after a holiday Pgh Symphony concert on Friday, November 28. We've been to Capital Grill many times. I didn't tell our server, until he brought our drinks, that it was our wedding anniversary. He said with a big smile, “why didn't you tell me?”. (I'm pretty low key.). He rushed off and came back to our table with an anniversary card, confetti for the table and two red roses. Much to our delight! We ordered our usual meal, sharing a few dishes, especially the filet with fig sauce and onions, always yummy!! 👍 Since it was late, we were going to skip dessert. Well, our server shows up with a “Happy Anniversary” dessert plate, with a little flourless chocolate cake and a little cheesecake, very nicely presented. I have a foodservice background...and I was impressed by our servers' charm and quick response, even at a late hour. We weren't rushed and several other staff wished us well. So, that's why we keep returning to this Capital Grill. The staff is always warm, friendly and lively. The food is great...and we try different dishes.
