“Was visiting from out of town with my family. We were very indecisive on what to order and Nicole was extremely kind and helpful when figuring out what to order. She gave insightful thoughts when asking about the town and things to do while we were here. The food came out very quick and was piping hot and delicious. The customer service was unmatched!!“

“My wife and I ate here last night (6/27/23), after dropping our son off at St. Joseph's University orientation, and generally speaking, it was fantastic. Our waitress, Jen, was at the forefront of why our experience was so positive. She was attentive, and really engaged us in conversation. We split the cheesesteak eggroll appetizer, which was delicious. For our entree, my wife got a salad with a giant meatball (don't know the name...sorry, LOL). I went with baked lasagna, and I felt the portion was more than enough. I typically finish everything, but we brought a little bit of lasagna home, along with what was left of her salad. We couldn't pass up dessert, and there was a lot to choose from. We settled on the zeppoles, which did NOT disappoint. The 3.5% charge to pay with a card, isn't ideal, but it is clearly stated, on a sign on the hostess station, as soon as you walk in. If that's a possible dealbreaker, there is a cash machine in the restaurant, if you want to pay with cash. We would (and probably will, at some point over the next four years) return!“

We also love the Nonna’s pie - square, but thinner crusted than a Sicilian pie with a excellent cheese blend and just a bit of heat/spice. “We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁“

“Ordered for the first time this past Friday to try their new menu. My 14 y/o had the lil’ Rita and said it was “so good it’ll make a grown man cry.” My 9 y/o had the mini plain pizza. She’s not usually a fan of pizza but ate 2 slices, so I guess that means she liked it. My husband and I did olive and pepperoni. I love that they use kalamatta olives instead of black olives! The cheesy bread with the garlic butter was also delicious! We’ll definitely add them into our pizza rotation.“

“I just had the French onion pizza at Poseidon Pizza, and wow, it was incredible! The flavors were on point—super cheesy with that perfect mix of sweet and savory. The crust had that nice crunch, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. What I love most is that you get this top-notch quality without spending a fortune. “Great little pizza joint for a quick lunch or dinner. Its similar to Mod in its layout and form but these guys are the original quick custom pizza company that Mod copied off of. As such, the variety, quality, etc of the ingredients and the service itself is substantially better at SNAP. Everything tasted fresh and the crust itself was a better dough. Good experience all around for pizza lovers.“

“We had the Crab ravioli and shrimp pizza. Both were excellent! The pasta of the ravioli was light and beautifully presented. You could taste the crab and the sauce had a fresh tomato taste.
The shrimp pizza was also delicious. The crust was crisp and also light. You can't go wrong with either choice. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back again.“

“Franzone’s has my favorite pizza. It’s thin crust. It’s a sweet sauce. It’s delicious. They have a great menu although I love the pizza so much that I usually order pizza. They have a full bar. They have a parking lot. They have TVs which were all playing The Masters today. Bethany was our server today. She was friendly and attentive. We’ve been going to Franzone’s for over 20 years. They are celebrating their 70th year anniversary.“

“I moved to PA from NYC 20 years ago and had pretty much given up hope of ever finding good NY-style pizza in the area. I just tried the grandma and grandpa style pizzas and they were AMAZING. The crust was thin and crispy, there was a lot of flavorful sauce, and the cheese was gooey. Pizza perfection!“

“Authentic! It felt like home as Yanci welcomed us into Bravissimo Pizza & Pasta this summer! We were able to visit in-between our friend’s wedding, who also had worked there in high school. The food and experience surpassed even her high recommendation. He personally made us fresh and delicious pizza, pasta, salad, and dessert! This is a MUST taste when visiting anywhere near Wayne, PA! It is the BEST pizza I’ve had!

“We love Slices and Rolls. While we don't keep strictly kosher we will choose kosher if it's available. Slices and Rolls make it an easy choice because it is not only kosher, it is DELICIOUS! There are some kosher places in the area that if one isn't strictly kosher, one knows that they *only* stay in business because people don't have an alternative. This is *not* true of Slices and Rolls. Their pizza is objectively good - certainly the best kosher option by miles and competitive with any standard pizza shop. It's not fancy but it's good.

I can't say the same for their sushi - specifically because I can't eat it. I have an allergy to corn and they use rice vinegar mixed with corn vinegar in the rice which even if you don't have a corn allergy gives you an idea about the commitment to authenticity. My husband who has eaten it is not so excited to eat it again. Because we aren't strictly kosher (but avoid eating where non-kosher animals are prepared if it's reasonably easy) he prefers to get sushi from the Philadelphia Fish and Lobster Company which is delicious and which I can eat because it uses fully rice vinegar.

“Amazing food!!!! My son and I were on our way back home (DC area) and wanted to get food in the way back. Why go to fast food or subway when we are in the area of amazing steak and cheese hoagies? Turns out it was on our way home so I ordered myself a steak and cheese and my son a meatball sub (with fries.) I could only eat 1/4 and even the next day it still tasted amazing! The meat was juicy and flavored, soft bread, and fries salty and delicious. My son ate all of his in about 10 minutes. Would love to return again. This time to get pizza. When I went into the restaurant, the pizza smelled so good. I was thinking maybe I should get some. But that’s a lot of food lol. Great place - seems like a hometown favorite for many people eating there and the amount of people I saw come in for pickup.“

“We ordered a few items from the Cosimos catering menu for a small party. The Grandma/Nonna pizzas red and white are always delicious! We also ordered their meatballs and eggplant rollatini. Both were great, stayed hot and were enjoyed by everyone. The eggplant especially got rave reviews from our very Italian family. We will definitely be ordering from Cosimos catering again!“

“Royal Pizza is an institution in western University City. While they do have a bench to sit at and eat, this is a take out/delivery place. The food is delicious and with really good portions. Mega Fries are the best cheese fries in the city. Cheese steak is good, full with soft bread. A small is enough for a normal person and the large is HUGE! The meat strombolis are also good.“

“Last month we held a private function at a nearby brewery. We had a very large order of pizzas, which were delivered perfectly on-time to the venue and set up for us on time just before our party arrived. The pizza was phenomenal! The customer service was excellent as well as the staff was kind and extremely enthusiastic to serve us for our party. Ambler Pizza has a great variety of pie choices at a great price. We cannot recommend this location enough!“
