“I tried to place my order online for pick up, but because they closed in a half an hour I couldn’t place the order and I’m not gonna lie. I was a bit irritated when I called and couldn’t place it over the phone so that it could be ready when I got there. Was pleasantly surprised that when I did arrive even with several people waiting in line, the staff had me in and out within a few minutes! Great experience!

We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent! “I frequently ate at Elcy's Café and had coffee there. It's a convenient local coffee shop where you can grab breakfast before your commute. The environment is both professional and welcoming. I had a great time at Elcy's Café. The only thing I dislike about this place is how pricey it can get. All things considered, though, this is a fantastic neighborhood café with stuff available.“

Received drinks shortly after ordering.Food: I got a large Taro Bubble Milk Tea. This drink is different compared to most other bubble tea places as Mr.Wish uses real Taro and not the powder. Both the tea and taro were really good (not as sweet as Taro Milk Tea made with powder). The bubbles/boba had a good soft texture. Unfortunately, the bubbles were tasteless (no flavor, not sugary) and felt more like a chewing/jaw exercise.Overall: The drinks here taste good. I would just avoid getting the bubbles as they dont contribute anything to the drink and would only worsen the experience.“

Peter, spoke well English and I was able to communicate with him well. He was very honest when I gave him too much money during my transaction. Unfortunately the tea I tried -- taro milk tea -- was not that good. There was way too much sugar, no ice and very few bubbles. They never asked me anything about any of these. I had tea like that in another place the other day and it was much more balanced and I just couldn't stop drinking it.“

“OMG!!!!!I’m not generally a healthy food eater. My daughter wanted a smoothie so I begrudgingly joined her at this spot for in Chestnut Hill while we waited for an appointment. She ordered a papaya bowl and I ordered the smallest Açaí bowl they offered because I was starving and didn’t want to waste it. After the first bite, I was hooked. I just kept going in for more and more and more until I regretted my decision of ordering a small.The two days following I went back and ordered my Açaí bowl fix. I guess it might be a good idea to try some other menu options. I’ll be there tomorrow for another bowl. Run, don’t walk!!!!“
