Daylida's Bar & Grill

It's been years since we've been to Daylidas. Moved out of the area years ago and during a family visit, decided to see if the food was still good. We were not disappointed! The outside might turn you away as it still looks like a neighborhood bar and when you walk in, it's the same vibe. Only one other couple in there on a Thursday evening and no one at the bar. Have been coming here for many years, and the food is consistently good. Yes, it is an old coal-miner's bar, but it is clean and bright and comfortable. Friendly staff and patrons are obviously enjoying themselves immensely. Nice "retro" vibe for a place that is the real deal and not a retro re-creation. Food is always great. We took my Mom out for her Birthday at an old time restaurant from our years past. The Restaurant atmosphere was still the same along with the excellent staff service & made from scratch foods. My Mom never tried the Deviled Crab so the Owner/Chef personally came out explained what it was & even made one for my Mom to taste.
