“9.20.24 While traveling around the US from our home in CO, we stopped at the Erie store. Wow, it is outstanding. The quality, selection, variety of prepared meals and OMG the bakery. In addition the store design is attractive, staff is friendly and the store and restrooms are spotless. Other stores could learn a thing or two about how a grocery store experience should be. I ask you, have you ever seen parking spaces reserved for expecting moms, or flowered in the man’s bathroom. Golly I love it!!“

“I work in the activities department for Soldiers' and Sailors' Home and this evening we were very pleased with our outing at Maria's Pizza. Not only did their diverse menu hit the spot for many picky eaters, but it also provided a great family atmosphere. The staff was very kind and courteous, respectful of our Veterans and they served us with perfect time, especially since our crowd is typically not known to be very patient and/or have short attention spans. The pricing was well within budget, giving our residents the ability to splurge and go wild on a smorgasbord of deliciousness. Thank you so much for the amazing experience! The loaded potato soup that came with the dinner was rich and creamy. We had the lasagna and chicken Alfredo and both were exceptional. A must order is the cheesy garlic bread. Hard to beat. “Most incredible French Onion Soup I have EVER tasted. And I order French onion soup every time I’m at a new place that serves it. There is no recipe or establishment that can compare with the soup I had at the Beechwood Inn. It was a mission of mine to find the best French onion soup and after 25 years of searching, I can honestly say mission complete.
My son had the Big Wood burger and couldn’t say enough positive things about it.
We grabbed a cherry cheesecake desserts to go. It was also fabulous and you could tell it was homemade with its thick, buttery, graham cracker crust.
Loved the homestyle rustic ambience of both the dining and bar area. The murals/wood carvings are quite unique and add to the country home cooking feel.
Service was quick and friendly.
The total meal was quite inexpensive.
The only thing that disappointed me had nothing to do with the Beechwood inn, but the fact that none of the local Erie visitor guides even mentioned the existence of this place. Shame on them for not listing this hidden gem of a local business.“

“I made my requests that I loved that others and many in erie food stopsarent worthy of the stop or to give a second try..there sadly under Health code regulations in food safety and shouldn't be able to sell products that aren't wrapped by another food supplier period..sadly countless places in erie are open and should be shut down forever..domino's as a dad,father,business owner and veteran is very proud to order in or out for delivery etc.
