“I recently moved back to Erie after living in Philadelphia for 25 years, and I have been spoiled when it comes to Italian food, especially pizza, stromboli, and calzones. After trying dozens of places across Erie County, I was ready to give up hope of finding something that truly impressed me. Then I discovered Waterford Pizza and More, and my life is officially back in balance.😌

The pizza here is unbelievable. Everything is made from scratch. The dough is crisp on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, the cheese is very high quality and layered on in generous portions, and the sauce is bright, fresh, and perfectly seasoned with olive oil, garlic, and basil.

Let's talk calzones. The first one I ordered was the large Cheesesteak Calzone (risky move for a Philly guy), and it absolutely blew me away. It was huge, loaded with perfectly cooked steak and onions, a blend of ricotta, mozzarella, and cheese sauce, plus a side of marinara for dipping. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — even compared to Philly.

Next up on my list to try is their Chicago-style deep dish. They use 2 FULL POUNDS OF CHEESE! I can't wait ... 🤩

“9.20.24 While traveling around the US from our home in CO, we stopped at the Erie store. Wow, it is outstanding. The quality, selection, variety of prepared meals and OMG the bakery. In addition the store design is attractive, staff is friendly and the store and restrooms are spotless. Other stores could learn a thing or two about how a grocery store experience should be. I ask you, have you ever seen parking spaces reserved for expecting moms, or flowered in the man’s bathroom. Golly I love it!!“

Not only did their diverse menu hit the spot for many picky eaters, but it also provided a great family atmosphere. The staff was very kind and courteous, respectful of our Veterans and they served us with perfect time, especially since our crowd is typically not known to be very patient and/or have short attention spans. “I've been coming here since I was a kid in the 90s. Grew up in Erie/Edinboro. I've taken friends here and they loved it too. I love that they have kept it close to how it was when i was a kid. Something about it just feels like home, and food is always delicious!“

Loved that they had something for me to eat, and that they took extra precautions for me as a gluten free person. Pizza did take a long time but probably because of the extra precautions. Salads were huge , everything was made just the way I ordered it.
Can't say it's the best gluten free pizza I've had but it was far from the worst.

“One of the better pizza places on Erie. It's not NYC pizza or Chicago deep dish but you're not there are you? Though you may desperately want to be. The wings are good too everything is as good as could be expected being made in a third tier city not known for that thing. You will not find any better anywhere else in the city that's for sure.
