“I recently moved back to Erie after living in Philadelphia for 25 years, and I have been spoiled when it comes to Italian food, especially pizza, stromboli, and calzones. After trying dozens of places across Erie County, I was ready to give up hope of finding something that truly impressed me. Then I discovered Waterford Pizza and More, and my life is officially back in balance.😌

The pizza here is unbelievable. Everything is made from scratch. The dough is crisp on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, the cheese is very high quality and layered on in generous portions, and the sauce is bright, fresh, and perfectly seasoned with olive oil, garlic, and basil.

Let's talk calzones. The first one I ordered was the large Cheesesteak Calzone (risky move for a Philly guy), and it absolutely blew me away. It was huge, loaded with perfectly cooked steak and onions, a blend of ricotta, mozzarella, and cheese sauce, plus a side of marinara for dipping. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — even compared to Philly.

Next up on my list to try is their Chicago-style deep dish. They use 2 FULL POUNDS OF CHEESE! I can't wait ... 🤩

Not only did their diverse menu hit the spot for many picky eaters, but it also provided a great family atmosphere. The staff was very kind and courteous, respectful of our Veterans and they served us with perfect time, especially since our crowd is typically not known to be very patient and/or have short attention spans. “Went out to eat here recently. I lived around the corner for a couple of years and never stopped in. Honestly, nothing really drew me in, and now I’m disappointed in myself for not trying it sooner.

The food was delicious! We ordered the pizza logs, cheese bread, a pizza, and a Stromboli. Yes, we were extremely hungry, but everything was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth it.

Our waitress, Rebecca, was very kind, friendly, and prompt with service. The only minor thing I noticed was that she didn’t check back for drink refills, and our glasses stayed empty for a while. That said, it wasn’t enough to affect the tip we left because she was otherwise great.

Overall, it was a very good experience. The pizza was excellent, the food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll certainly be back.“

She immediately came up with a wonderful alternative to chop up some chicken tenders and toss them in my preferred wing sauce. Let me tell you, it's delicious.
