This was a neat find. Interior atmosphere reminded me of a place I would have gone as a kid with my parents. A bit retro feeling, but extremely clean. Service was amazing. Had a burger and fries and they were delicious. Our waitress had made the dessert, an old timey strawberry and pretzel dish that reminded me of something from a church dinner. It was great. If you are looking for a clean and friendly place with good food, then check this place out.
Wife and I tried dinner for the first time at Monterey Pass Pub & Eatery in Rouzerville, a village in Washington Township just off PA16 at the foot of South Mountain just east of Waynesboro. Small pub with great selections. Very reasonable prices. Tried their cup of cream of crab, Could have had a gallon of it. Had the George Custer hot roast beef with gravy. Huge sandwich with huge favors. Save room for the deserts.The homemade pies and cakes were out of this world. Add to this a friendly staff and you have a pleasant evening.
