“I have been coming to PJW’s in Malvern essentially since it opened, often with long breaks in between visits when I am out of town. But no matter when I roll in, I am remembered and greeted warmly and enthusiastically by everyone on staff there, a-la Norm from “Cheers”! Often flying solo, I mostly sit at the bar, where the fantastic staff takes care of me with phenomenal warmth and humor each and every time. Rachel is the hardest working person whom I have ever beheld in any industry, multitasking flawlessly without ever breaking her smile and composure! Julianna, one of my favorite people encountered anywhere, personifies fun and friendliness, and I once witnessed her handle two separate wedding parties who rolled in without reservations stampede into the bar and all try to order. Served with aplomb; it was remarkable. Alyssa makes college football Saturdays wonderful for alums of far flung schools, and Emma and Shay keep great conversation flowing with the libations. The menu has reduced in size since the days of Covid, but what remains is delicious and dependable. If you are a salmon fan, you are going to love it here, and if you are an aficionado of smash burgers, get your snaps in! Good stuff! Management is great; they care about the patrons and also about the staff. Everyone seems happy and enthused at all times, day or night, and that makes for a special, relaxing, welcoming environment, for a ball game, a burger, or some booze. Great job, all of you!“

“Atmosphere and food are both excellent. My family loves the loaded nachos and without fail get them every single time. I’ve had a good experience, at minimum, every time we visited. Classic American food with a creative yet subtle atmosphere and friendly service.

Service is generally excellent but sometimes waiters will forget that you’re outside if dining on the patio and not attend to your table.“

“We were looking for a place for lunch and found Cedar Hollow. And are we glad we did! Starting with Nancy our server the experience was top notch. Huge servings done to perfection. Kudos to the pastry chef for blueberry crème brûlée If you are ever within 50 miles it is well worth the trip.“

“Common bar food, but with nice twists in ingredients. I got the pulled pork with white Alabama sauce. BIG sandwich! Don’t order unless hungry. Same for the burgers. Fries are skin on fresh made. Good but all three of us said it was salty — they use rock salt; classy but I’m a bit sensitive to salt. The Root Down NEIPA was light with fruity scent. Very good! 13 beers on tap. A little noisy; small place. Nearly all food made fresh on premises, and it shows.“

“I vist this establishment on occasion. It is always a pleasure. I usually order their burger with the BBQ sauce. The service is very good. The atmosphere is open and airy. You can have a group or choose a cozy nook. Indoor and outdoor seating. It is so worth traveling the extra miles to order!“

The negatives were the waitress was pretty brusk and overall, not very friendly. Also, when asked about a kids menu for my son, and was told there wasn't really much of one, but then it appears there was one on their website with lots of items. That said items were dropped off by staff efficiently.
Food was ok, the buffalo shrimp were maybe the smallest I ever saw served at a restaurant. Flatbread was great!“

“On New Year's Day we went to Brick & Brew in Malvern. Been there a few times before. Their Regular Menu food is so good. They had a special for New Year's Day. It was Pork & Sauerkraut with or without Dumplings, mashed potatoes with gravy, String Beans, A Complimentary Glass of Champaign, & for dessert it was a Pumpkin/Cream Cheese Mousse with Cream Cheese topping. It was so fantastic. I ended up taking some home, their portions sizes are large. All the people are so friendly. Can't wait to go back. If you want a nice evening with Good Food & Drinks, This is the place to go. Call to make a reservation. They do get packed.“

“Came here for a team lunch and the reservation process was super easy online. A little on the pricy side, but great food and atmosphere so well worth it. Excellent beer and liquor menu too, so we're going to have to come back for a happy hour soon!“
