When one opens "une vraie pâtisserie" it helps that the owner is FROM France, and also knows what the hell they are doing.Hailing from Lyons, Mme. Catherine exceeded expectations when her doors opened; lord knows she gave Yori's a scare by taking 20% of their business in the first few weeks. She replaced crullers with croissants, glazed with clarified butter and stuffed with bleu cheese & pears (yum!)Cheese danish became exquisite tarts with raspberries & oranges, and my diet gave way to her incomparable Brioche Tropezienne...an almond-infused bun, topped by a nut sliver & confectioners' sugar, stuffed with a blend of fresh whipped cream and fresh vanilla custard.I gained 10 lbs. in 2 weeks.Never went to Yori's again.Salut, madame!Truly magnifique!

Stopped in after mass for a croissant and couldn't resist picking up a loaf of bread for the week! The employees were welcoming and genuinely kind. The atmosphere is lovely but not overdone. The croissant was perfect in every way- I'll be back to try more of the delicious looking offerings!

The French baguette there is as close as you can get to one in France. Staff is friendly and conversational but efficient and quick at the same time. They have an espresso machine so I always get a cappuccino when I can. There’s also a Parisian sandwich made with their baguette, butter, ham, and cheese which I get for lunch - it’s amazing.There’s seating for about 15 people inside with small tables. Not the best for large crowds. Can get crowded especially on weekends. They also have outdoor seating.Can be a little pricey but perfect for a quick lunch or snack on occasion. I also get their chocolate croissant - you must try!Not many vegetarian or gluten free options.

The bread and pastry is still excellent but the seating area and decor has lost some of the atmosphere and ambiance it had before the renovation, it had a certain "je ne sais quoi", now it just feels like every other hipster joint. Catherine's personal touch seems to be gone malheureusement.
