Found Mayday on Instagram before it opened and I felt like the piece of the west coast I was missing was finally arriving locally. Literally a dream of mine: a coffee shop with west coast easy bright energy, plants & niche gifts, flowers, cozy. And the whole mental health origin of the name … 🫶🏼. Just truly one of my favorite places to just be. And every one of us loves it! My husband loves the egg & sausage sandwich and our girls love the hot chocolate and vanilla...
Allergy warning!!! The avocado toast was served to me with dairy butter on it, which is not indicated on the menu anywhere. The menu states the following ingredients: sourdough, avocado, micro greens, lemon slice, sea salt, pepper, chili flakes. I had to ask for a new plate and they got it out to me quickly. Super dangerous to not mark things with allergens.

We went to Mayday Coffee shop to get some coffee with my wife. I was impressed with the Halloween decoration and interior. It was cute. Because of the big windows and high ceilings there was a lot of light and air. If I was claustrophobic I'd feel myself great there.
