Was lucky enough to get a last minute reservation on a Saturday night and enjoyed our food. Started with the seafood soup which had some good chunks of lobster, clams, potatoes, and more. It had good flavor and I would definitely get it again. Next I ordered the seared halibut with saffron risotto and lobster tarragon sauce. The halibut itself was a little dry, but the sear was done well. Luckily the saffron risotto and lobster sauce were delicious and was a perfect complement to the somewhat dry halibut. My wife got the special Cajun wild stripped bass. She said the flavor was good, but expected a little more bite with the “Cajun” descriptor. Our server was delightful and helpful. Everything explained with patience and a smile. And the atmosphere was perfect for the start to a night out.

“Very lovely place, very friendly employees and a comforting atmosphere. Sat here for a few hours while waiting for my ride home and was able to do some work while I was here.
Their new potato soup was good, would've just appreciated some clarity with the menu in stating that it had bacon in it. I like bacon, but it's usually all I taste whenever it's put in something. All in all, tasty, served nice and hot, good pricing. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area again!“

“Though some things have changed at the Cafe' since our last visit, the food is still the same high quality, and the atmosphere can't be equaled anywhere. Many items that used to be available on the steam tables are now pre-packaged, so service is faster and more hygienic. In particular, the mushroom soup and other hot items are kept at the ideal serving temperature, which I really liked. This isn't McDonald's though, so don't expect fast food pricing. You pay for the convenience and the setting, which are well worth it, since you don't have to leave the Gardens to eat. It's best to think of the Cafe' as a snack break, instead of a meal, because there are many fine restaurants nearby for later.“

“Wow, fantastic. Perfect temperature of roll versus filling, on the classic roll. Perfect amount of light mayo, with what seems like a house combination of celery seed and some sparing big pretzel salt crystals…. Just perfect munching overlooking the boardwalk, dunes and ocean in Ocean City boardwalk. And the lobster bisque was excellent. With the jumbo sized option on the classic rolls, there was lobster falling out of the sandwich before we could even pick it up. Just excellent.“

“I've been here tons of times and a couple times have had a few issues, always rectified though. Yes it's really busy at lunch time. I just got back from having breakfast there with my 9 month old and the lady who served us was fantastic. Wish I caught her name. Not only did she see I had my hands full so she brought everything to my table for me but she also realized I left my latte when I was leaving and ran it out to me as I was getting in my car. “I was very upset with your store the other night. Having two managers on , not caring about anything. Talking about their life’s when making food. The salad was the worst I have ever had and also my daughter got soup and it was all Broth. Like really. I will never go back to them. Never.“
