“I recommend this restaurant for any day of the week sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays. It gets a little bit busy but they take you so fast. Food is just so delicious and it’s not that they rushed the food out. The cooks are just so great that they can handle everyone coming in. I’ve had to wait maybe 10 minutes on a Sunday because of church But I highly recommend it to people are so friendly there and like I said they’re fast and delicious. Please try it you really will miss something if you don’t.“

“Family diner. Just what I was looking for. Nothing fancy 1970's decor. Staff was wonderful, working hard to satisfy customers while joking with them like family. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection. If I could change 1 thing it would be the coffee . It was abit weak for me. I like a dark roast so others may find it just fine. All in all I loved the place and plan to return.“

“Anytime we're traveling we always search out the local small businesses. My Fiance Kelly is right at home here at Kelly O's Diner in the Strip. Great way to start the day here in Pittsburgh with super hospitable fresh and fast breakfast. Everything from the spicy sausage, shrimp and grits and eggs Benedict were on point. Highly recommended when in town.“

“This place is an exact 1950s style diner. The attention to detail is amazing with the joint. The stainless steel trim, table tops, seating, right down to the pictures on the wall. The food was AMAZING as well. I live over an hour away and will totally make the trip if I'm fellin' it 😆 Worth it!“

“Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had. Seafood omelet and steel city breakfast delicious! Portions are large, had enough to bring some home. Husband had a banana split and said it it one of the best he’s eaten. Our waitress was so nice. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! We will definitely return when in the area.“

“My family went for lunch on Saturday, the place was absolutely packed! And for good reason, the food was absolutely delicious! And the service we received from our waiter was perfect. Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!“

“If you like a hometown, locally owned restaurant feel, this is a great place to visit. It has a bit of a Rustic / Grandma's kitchen vibe. Food is excellent! Omelettes are in my opinion stellar, with the proper amount of all ingredients. Bacon is awesome, thin and crispy, just how I like it! Pancakes are also excellent and super tasty. Overeasy eggs are also cooked perfectly. Carry and Barb are 2 of the best breakfast chefs I have had out, period.. As of 2023 I'm 50 years old so have had breakfast a ton of places locally and nationally. I live about 3 miles away from the restaurant location so since I discovered it I try to stop once or twice a week. Definitely one of Pittsburgh's hidden local neighborhood gems. It is one of those small local places where if you know how good it is, you KNOW, and remember....“

“If you're looking for the "typical diner" this isn't it. It's small, basic, down to earth. Food is good and the staff is amazing. You're treated like they've known you for years. Hours may vary. But, they're open M-F 0630-2pm. One of the best kept little secrets in Pittsburgh.“

“Good breakfast diner for three. Breakfast is decent. Eggs and bacon with English muffin very good. Pancake was nothing special. Coffee was a descent brew. Service was a bit chaotic today with a new POS system. Could use a good cleaning.“

“Awesome food, service. Very friendly dining experience! A+++“
“I’ve been here twice and genuinely think this is one of the best spots to spend a block on. I’ve only come for breakfast, but each time they’ve had eggs, potatoes, taters, fresh fruit, omelets, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and several other options. You get full control over the portion size and can eat literally as much as you want, so I highly recommend coming here when you’re hungry.“

“Rude worker, refused service. we was there at 11:25 June 3rd, as we walked thru the first door we was stopped by a rude women yelling how they close at midnight and their kitchen closes at 1120pm. no signs posted anywhere, open sign was still on, people was inside eating, I asked for the store manager number she replied she was but refused her name, the replied they are franchise owned and she sleeps with the owner so she can close without notice anytime she wants. and she claimed the 1120 time was posted on the doors which it wasn't. dennys needs to review this location and pull there name from the owner. I've ate at dennys all over the country and never have seen a dennys not open 24hrs and sure never seen one with this poor of management.“

“I have known about this place for many years, from when I was newer to Pittsburgh and helped manage the Dunkin Donuts nearby (a pretty dreadful experience overall), to hearing about it on a Rick Sebak documentary. But until today, I had never managed to stop by.
I was looking for a restaurant that was open for late breakfast on Memorial Day (one of the more rare days my entire family has a morning off together), and Isaly's fit the bill. The location is awash in the yesteryear- it truly feels like not much has changed inside in a many decades, which gives it a special nostalgic touch, if you're into that kind of thing.
I had the Barnyard sandwich, and I was a bit surprised at how good it the mishmash of items was. The rest of my family all enjoyed their various choices, and the waitress who seemed to be manning the entire small dining room was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a nice breakfast at a fair price in a place that eeks history and tradition of the area- I'd say it's worth a stop if you're in or around the West View area.“
